I don't have the time or talent to construct my own, unlike a lot of the other folks in 501st. Nor do I often have the spare money laying around I can just splurge away on a professionally built one. I did a lot of research before I bought, knowing that 501st is very strict on requirements; has to be movie quality and accurate in every small detail, etc. There's a lot of ways you can get ripped off badly.

I ended up going with RS Propmasters in the UK. Took 8 weeks to build the suit to my measurements and a week to ship it. Get some extras like a good balaclava, voice changer, mic and amp and you're looking at well over 3k in Aussie money. Worth every cent though, so much fun Lol
