Howdy folks *tips Stetson*

So a little lizard is crawling through a forest, happens upon a gum tree shrouded in smoke. He looks up and sees a Koala sitting on a high branch, smoking a joint. The little lizard finds this very odd.

"Hey!" the little lizard yells up at the Koala. "What're you doing up there?" The koala looks down, takes a drag and says, "toking on a doobie, man. Ya want some? Got plenty up here." So the little lizard climbs up the tree and takes a spot on the branch next to the koala. The two pass some time just chilling, burning through a couple of smokes each, until the little lizard says, "Man, my mouth is dry, I'm going to go get a drink from the river."

The little lizard climbs down to the forest floor and heads through the trees to the nearby river to get a drink. He leans over the bank to drink but he's so stoned he falls right into the water. A passing crocodile sees the little lizard foundering in the water, swims over to him and using his snout shoves him back up onto the bank.

"What's up with you?" the croc asks the little lizard.

"Well," the little lizard replies, "I was sitting in a gum tree with a koala smoking some weed, and I needed a drink, but I guess I was too stoned and fell into the river." The croc is amazed.

"Seriously?" he asks. "A koala, sitting in a gum tree, smoking pot? This I gotta see." he says, and climbs up the bank and heads into the forest. He finds the smoke shrouded gum tree, looks up and sees the koala on the high branch taking another big toke.

"Hey You!" the croc shouts up at the koala. The koala looks down at the croc.

"**** dude," the koala says, "How much water did you drink?"

See y'all in Vegas in a few days!

So, you're a bounty hunter. No, that ain't it at all. Then what are you? I'm a bounty hunter.

Hello guys and gals,

I reached a point in my life where I have to choose learning between three languages because, they are going to be offered for free at a college near my city.

The three languages are:

  • Chinese
  • Japanese
  • Korean

Korean and Japanese come from the same language tree as Turkish. They have the EXACT same grammar structure of Turkish. But I have a talent in learning languages and don't mind learning hard languages.

The question here is usefulness.Either when living in that respective country or communicating with its people.

China is an emerging superpower and the language is useful for business.
Japanese is for watching hen....Erm, I mean anime without subtitles and benefiting from latest tech.
Korean is useful for gaming and somewhat fast internet connection.

The reasons above are not valid except the internet one(clicky). So I need your help to justify learning one of these languages,LAGL.

So which one should I choose? Thanks for the input in advance.

Good night. ♥

The language of the people you like most, there is chance you will be using it and it will be usefull for you, and you will not forget it and your study will be practical for you.

Merhaba! (Turkish for hello) Chinese.
Japanese hen.... anime is understandable without translation.
Korean? You already are a gamer.

A process of deduction points to Chinese.

Why thank you, I was a spot annoyed last night they raged pinged for members. I log in, fleet is full. They get angry for mentioning it. So I wait for 15 minutes waiting for them to sort it out.

Then they undock and leave and tell those who logged in for the ping to go out in Arty Claws... Erm no.

My other char has FC 5 and WC 5 so could of fixed their issue 😆

Went back to my tv program lol.

Don't mind ceptor fleets once in a blue moon, but be damned if I do that daily.

My initial thought was chinese too. But china is behind a great wall in everything I can imagine. Internet for example. You cant even get many sites working there if you dont know how to VPN. I will not go further into details into other areas because forum rules.

I work with a lot of Chinese, Korean, Japanese and many other foreign clients. Including turkey, Vestel City is hype.

And out of all of them Chinese are the worse to communicate with, i'm due to go over to Northern China to conduct an Engineering class for Huawei and I am somewhat dreading it.

Japenese and Koreans are much easier to handle. But i'd recommend Chinese for peace of mind.

Depends on the future dealings and agreements you foresee coming into contact with. China, for instance, has been steadily digging into Africa, so I've been considering picking up Mandarin for a while now.

It's all about the overlap of skills these days.

When I'm good I'm very good, but when I'm bad, I'm better.

I would impose teaching everyone one language, basic english, if I would rule the earth. And everything written in latin characters. Everyone would save a lot of time, which else would be spent trying to learn more new languages, or translating.

Hobbysts could learn every extinct language for fun.

Start by teaching it to younger Brits and Yanks, these people don't even know their own language. Ie. "should of", "word's" used as plural. It's downright sad.
