Catastrophe!
I still dont know why people build normal houses in those places in USA where those hurricanes and storms happen. Living in a home that is more like hobbit burrow in a ground would have more sense there.

I have seen ad for everadio on billboard and just wanted to do something too. But its only a picture, not a moving one like eve radio ad. I dont have video editing software that is capable of animating soundwaves or equalizers and fancy effects with moving things around whole screen.
It was created in GIMP.

Normal houses would be fine. But they're not building that at all. What they build is a far weaker construction.

But I have seen what strong wind can do wit even normal houses in my country. Roofs ripped off by wind is nothing new to me.

Maybe they are building cheap because it will be destroyed, but I think it is still a bad idea.

There may be an issue with peoples and how they like to live every day.

For example, if you would see a hause that is looking like every normal house, and is cheaper than normal, and you would see a hole in the ground that is priced like a normal house. Would you take that hole? Nah, I think everyone would look funny at you for proposing a hobbit lair.

Well in my part of Florida the building code requires you to build hurricane resistant homes if you live within a certain distance of the coast. This includes building the homes/buildings on columns so that they remain relatively unaffected by the storm surge from a hurricane and heavy duty shutters for windows and doors.

It's not required but its not a bad idea to have lightning rods on your home due to the frequency of lightning here.

Catastrophe!

This shows why I sold the Florida condo's as soon as the market recovered enough to allow me to do so without losing my shirt. Sure I live in southern California and we have earthquakes, but we don't have earthquake season every year.

The drought has made wildfires a greater concern but I don't live in a part of town where I am isolated and subjected to high wildfire risk.

The rise of the ocean is something that should have all coastal communities concerned and a state like Florida could be inundated. So I bailed and will not be retiring on the east coast.

Also, pretty much every place in the US that's accessible and desirable has some kind of natural disaster potential.

Enjoying EVE too much is a good problem to have, though, as opposed to the having the opposite issue. :)

Pumpkin donuts!

Yummy treats come out this time of year. I must remember to get a frozen Pumpkin Cheesecake from Trader Joe's, they are only available seasonally and last year I waited too long and missed them.

Not going to make that mistake again.

Afraid to say they are american pizzas! We don't really have a 'British' Pizza. We import quality, that's why we bothered with the whole imperial shindig.

I bet it's NY-style.

It's always NY-style.

Nasty, soggy cardboard with toppings. Cool
