I played AoC in those days.
Barbarian, on PvP server, open world PvP but no loot from defeated players. Ahhh, decapitation with an axe, that was fun. And assassins with daggers slaugthering everyone from behind, from shadows: CC, critical with dota, runs around you with shift, stabby stabby and you dead in few seconds. And those bear shamans with regeneration like Wolverine. Much OP. Raids on rival guilds in Kheshatta, 1vs1 fights by the gates. Was fun. While it lasted. Then the numbers dropped and I briefly moved to PvE server, playing some PvP minigames and such, doing raids, and then i felt everything was explored and stagnating and I moved to EVE. I logged in few days ago to AoC, but only to see the unlocked locations. Was funny to see again how the NPC acts like a lunatic, and uses words fitting to one. Lol

It was somewhat buggy even after few years, when I played it.
I once found a way to come thru the invisible wall in Tortage and explored around the island where you could not get normally.
Felt like it was partially finished, there were some hills, rocks, trees and grass, together with something what could have been a fundaments for structure by the lake. Felt like they had bigger plans but had to cut them in the middle of creation.

It would of been an excellent game if they managed to secure more development time though. The unpolished release killed it off, despite it being a good game otherwise. Needed another year or two.
