Speaking of old ships, the oldest ship I have is an Archon "Konrakas" that I got 8 years ago. The guy that I got it from had it for a few years too so I'm guessing it's around 10 years old from when it was manufactured which was around when carriers were first released to the game. It's been all around Eve over the years and even survived in wormhole space earning billions of ISK, transported dozens of ships and has traveled many light years. It has even killed several ships and gave loving reps to friendly ships. She suffered a few close calls but she always came through in the end to survive.

After her glorious 10 year service I have decided to decommission Konrakas and make her a museum ship for my personal collection.

By the way, when did CCP remove the colored lights effect from the character portraits?

Gotta say that's bogus, was able to make some really good looking portraits with those.

Yeah, you use to be able to pick different accent colors, red, blue, green, yellow.

You don't remember that ?

This has Red tint accent.

Not just Photoshop... Niden uses a 3rd party renderer, plus a 3rd party character renderer, plus tons of photoshop to assemble each composite.

The results are hot... very hot... and even extremely hot.

Anyway the vanilla CQ also allows some interesting angles...

The light sources still are there, but they can't be seen from every camera angle; you can turn your character completely away from the red/blue/yellow point sources (as in they hit your back instead of your front).

Yeah, hope they find someone... it's a very useful tool but people can just volunteer in lieu of CCP for so long, and he's been 8 years doing it!

(CCP's take is "people love us so much that they develop 3rd party resources", but it's more like "since CCP can't be arsed, people develops 3rd party resources for services that should be CCP's repsonsability to provide".

No, the color choice as well as the light intensity is now gone from the Character Portrait section.

CCP getting very cheap now, seems like they're trying to conserve space on their server, like it's running on bare minimum.

Thanks for your concern and no, I'm not scared. I don't really think about it anyway.

When a quake does hit, I always get outside asap. I'd rather take my chances dodging live wires and falling debris than be trapped and buried inside a building.

Also if it does get real bad, I'll just grab a Dirt Bike and head for the hills .................... in Arizona.

Well I guess that's one nice thing about Florida, really no natural disasters here besides the occasional hurricane in which you get plenty of warning. Fortunately i'm too far south to be affected by sinkholes which are scary as hell. The only other natural disaster and probably the worst is snowbirds and tourists.

Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Flash Floods, Blizzards, etc all scare me. I'd much rather have a little ground shaking than deal with those.

Best thing to do is stay calm no matter what mother nature throws at you.
