How do you deal with the mosquitos?I've been told Florida is infested with them all year round.

Don't go outdoors when it's dark. It's not any worse than anywhere else in the summer really, biting gnats are worse than the mosquitoes here imo.

Yeah the mosquitoes really aren't that bad where I live.

Step 1 to living in a nice place: live near rich people, they hate problems and will pay to make them go away

Eventually I've watched CCP Ghost's presentation.

He's bound to fail, but it will be interesting to see how that failure develops.

Oh my it can't be morning yet.... *sighs*

Mornings LAGLers!

For the seocnd time in less than a week, I've had an uneasy night and have been dreaming. Whenever I dream, I don't rest properly, or maybe is the opposite... anyway I dislike and even fear dreaming because it means I will get the "wake up more tired than you went to bed last night" effect.

Actually I wonder WTF are "sweet dreams". It's like "happy childhood", some people just talk about if but I don't have a first hand experience to relate to. I mean, probably those things exist, I don't mean they don't, but they are just not a part of my life experiences.

You had not any good experiences from childhood? What about the birthday parties? What about time spent together with parents somewhere near sea in summer or in some rural place when you can walk barefooted? What about joys of unbothered escapades to see what is behind the next forest or hill or neighbourhood?

You did not had any of those? Or maybe you just didnt see it as joyfull? Have you been always in low mood? Shocked

If I had been born in the 90s rather than the 70s, my childhood would had rised more red flags than a Ferrari fanclub. Blink

The evidence that something was fu**ed up with me was overwhelming, but nobody was looking. The very idea that a child could have mental issues was not on the radar for adults in Spain in those yars. Thus I tend to smirk when people complain that children now are over-protected... the alternative from the "good old days" was not desirable when the child in question was you and you faced things, both internal and external, which no child is ready to deal with on his own.

My childhood shaped me into the person who had a total meltdown at 17. I've been struggling since to become some other person. Not a "normal" person, but at least one that is more and more bearable to be until death releases me from this phony prank called Life.
