Howdy Folks! *tips Stetson*

I think my interview yesterday went better than the one last Thursday. We'll see after I get followup calls from each company.

I like white cheeses mostly: Havarti, Meunster, Provolone, Monterrey Jack. Not that big a fan of swiss cheese though, too sour for my taste. I also really really like smoked cheddar.

My grandsons got identical giant tonka yellow dump trucks for Christmas. They like to sit in the back and push off with their feet and go careening across the front room backwards. This morning they were fighting and crying over one such truck, while the 2nd sat nearby, unplayedwith.

Me: Why are you crying?

Older Grandson: I want to play with the dump truck

Me: Your brother has it, play with this one

OG: I don't wanna play with that one

Me (to Younger Grandson): Do you want to play with this dump truck?

YG (sitting in the back of the first truck): no

Me: And you don't want to play with this one either?

OG: No

Me: Ok (I pick up the notbeingplayedwith dump truck and put it out in the garage)

OG (suddenly realizing a toy is being removed): *cries* I wanna play with the dump truck!!!

YG (realizing the same thing): *vacates 1st truck's dumper and goes to the garage door* Papa, I wanna play with other truck.

Me (to OG): Play with that one now your brother is out of it

OG (still crying): I don't wanna play with that one

Me (to YG): Do you want to play with that truck you just had?

YG: no, I wanna play with the other truck *points at garage door*

Me: So nobody wants to play with this truck?

Both: no

Me: Ok (I pick up the nolongerbeingplayedwith dump truck and put it out in the garage with the first one)

Both boys now crying.

Me: Stop fighting over your toys you might get to play with them.

*slurps coffee*

I received an email from the company I interviewed with on Thursday, saying "Thanks for coming in, while you have wonderful qualifications we chose someone better than you, good luck..."

Okay so that wasn't an exact quote but ... close enough.
