Oculus Rift is coming! And neither of my pcs are capable to run it.My newest one has R9 270X videocard while O.R. requires R9 290. Huh,I didn't want to play with Oculus Rift anyway. :)

Recommended specifications are never truly precise, they like to leave some leeway to ensure the customer has the best issue-free experience possible. I believe your machine will most likely be able to run it, just not as well.

I also use an R9 270X by the way, nice card.

What a day.

Mined 800+ ice units and put them to sell as QBBAA is in one of his attacks on the market so probably I'll get the nice overprice I marked for that batch.

I had a few laughs with how the Oculus rift will cost "just" 742 effin euros in Europe. Probably will keep having some. Lol

Also it might be that those(R9 290) cards are shipped with the most recent drivers.I'm so happy with my R9 270X too. It runs everything I throw at it smoothly provided it is in 1080p(which is more than enough until 4K/5K display tech matures).Until they introduce HDR displays,I'm sticking with my 1080p monitor and videocard.
