nerfed ships and related skill points...

Don't be bloody daft. The skills are still useful and the ships are getting needed adjustments, not totally trashed.

Some of the science and industry skills took *much* harder kicks in the balls without reimbursement.

It is very simple, CCP can write a simple script, if something gets nerfed, then all related skill points can be reset. Done, sorted.

Nothing in EVE is ever that simple I am afraid.

this thread cant be happening.......i mean really, its common sense you are not going to get your sp reset(which ever one you might think needs reseting/returned/reimbursed).

If everyone in this thread supported the idea of SP reset, when CCP screws up a ship, then it could be possible, that it would happen.

I trained all the drone skills for Ishtar (which was like it was for many many years, i think since the introduction of sentry drones and even before that, correct me if I am wrong) and it gets "rebalanced" in terms of slot layout and gets hit by a nerf bat with sentry damage. To me it becomes useless. Remind you it's not 2 weeks train time to get all those skills.

Now another ship which I realy liked gets hit by a nerf bat. And noone isn't responsible for this. On the other hand what am I talking about, ppl get killed in the world on a daily basis, hospitals get bombed, and noone is charged for that. And I am talking about responsibility in game.

And it is like that all the time.

I have heard of no ship that was really unnervingly powerful for "many many years".

And the cycle continues.

Let's see here. I have... checking... 20,736,000 SP in drones. Throw out fighters and it still comes to 17,664,000. And guess what? Every bit of it is still useful. It's still useful on my Ishtars. It's still useful on my Gilas. If you want to have SP in something else, then bloody well get it; no one is stopping you.

If you're just complaining because those SP aren't an absolute "I win" button and you feel entitled to one: you aren't. Rebalancing ships is healthy for the game. SP isn't wasted, it just takes on a new relative value. If you can't accept that, the door is over there --->
