nerfed ships and related skill points...

We all know it takes a while to master a ship. Months for a cruiser sized ship. And then CCP decides to nerf that ship, no matter that it's been with the current stats for years.

My proposal is if the ship get nerfed, we should be able to get our skill points back.

If you chase the FOTM overpowered ship you should expect the sting when it gets nerfed.

Gila was in its current state for many years so is Orthurus.
Just purchased a character with few mills SP invested in Gila. So I guess it is a good idea to have an option of SP reimbursment.

No. This has been proposed hundreds of times. No, you're not getting it. You're simply wasting forum space.

If CCP introduce their ridiculous SP packets idea. Then your selfish, self entitled attitude will be satisfied and you'll be able to respec those skills used in a once OP ship and move them to another OP ship.

FOTM at a whim is born. Nice.

Destination SkillQueue:- It's like assuming the Lions will ignore you in the Savannah, if you're small, fat and look helpless.

If anything tho, it might make CCP more aware of what is getting ridiculous FOTM treatment by checking what a mass of player re-spec to and the FOTM might last for less time.

It's a possibility. I'm not saying it will happen. Just a potential side effect if the change is indeed implemented.

It is very simple, CCP can write a simple script, if something gets nerfed, then all related skill points can be reset. Done, sorted.

Except all those SP also apply to a bunch of other things that aren't nerfed. So no, hell no.
If something got Nerfed it's because it was crazy OP and is now closer to balanced.

Most of the stuff getting nerfed is still going to be very powerful.

The Gila is not any less useful than it was before, it is simply no longer as powerful.

if ccp were to rebait every sp on any nerfed ship, they owe me over 100m skill points...

stuff gets nerfed, other stuff gets buffed... next time ccp buff a ship, you want them to give you lvl 5 skills in it?

I have so many of this skills maxed. If I got sp for every nerf, I'd still have some left over and nothing to do with it.

Define related skillpoints.

Every single shield tanking, cruiser, fitting, drone, navigation, targeting and missile skill in the case of the gila?

It is very simple, yes all those skill points. And then you reaply then where you want them to be. It's like when skill gets removed from them game, you get those trained SP back. Same here. Nothing new.

Soo, you trained into a ship because it was OP, and now that it's balanced, you don't want the ship?

Hmm... Sounds like the problem is you..

Simply for the record. NO.
You trained them, you are stuck with them.

So every time any ship gets redone, you basically want all your SP refunded?

Why the hell do you think that's a good idea?
