Yup, there weren't any CVA applicants. There were a few Provi applicants (like Vaari, but he didn't post a video), but no CVA ones.

Yo I ran close to 400 level 4 missions to get my standings near maxed, read every chronicle, re-read the Empyrean Age, started a war on the RP forum, attended several in-game RP events (which I can say for certain none of you people did), captured a station, and dropped about 10k AUR on Sarum skins and dank Amarr hats. I took "try hard" to its limits.

Your corp members post was nice and the video was neat, but it wasn't a PvP video (part of the requirements for entry). You dubbed an Eve trailer. Everyone else in that house who was selected submitted actual PvP videos.


I can confirm Elise's dedication. I hope they keep it up!

Frankly I think everyone who wasn't a loyalist for years should be thankful that CCP even gave them a chance. While I am impressed and awed by Elise's recent dedication to the Empire, it's just that: recent.

I've been a hardcore Amarr loyalist since beta and I assure you Elise's dedication is not merely recent.
Here's an excerpt from Elise's application, all true;

"When the Empires first approached the empyreans for militia work, I was quick to lend my aid to the 24th Imperial Crusade. While the other militiamen sucked on the teat of The Empire, begging paper-pushing worker bees for mindless work for loyalty points, I ascended the ranks to Imperator Commander through blood and wreckage alone. In the summer of YC 109, The Scope declared me the most vicious militiawoman to ever grace the Crusade.

I then left the service of the militia to train to be a more complete warrior, and in so doing found myself part of the most Amarr of all capsuleer groups: Pandemic Legion. I spent the next several years espousing Amarr virtues while popularizing the great Amarr war vessels: first the Zealot, then the Abaddon, followed by the Apocalypse Navy Issue, the Archon and Aeon, and now the Legion. Our tactics were so profound and dominating that measures had to be taken to lessen their greatness. You will find no pilot more skilled at combat in an Amarr vessel than a Pandemic Legion pilot – a gilded group that I can draw from for support should the need arise. "

Well, I stand corrected on the "recent," perhaps, but during my tenure in the crusade, PL was seldom a help. I am not arguing against Elise's eligibility as a contender, however (before the conversation takes that route).

I'm still confident my points stand for almost all others, though.

Edit: And perhaps this means a renewal of Elise's Amarrian roots and I can look forward to beautiful cooperation in the future :) (off trial grounds, of course).

I would also not be surprised by that. Blink

People seem to forget that these aren't PIE teams or PL teams or teams from Alliance X. They are teams led by people who happen to be in certain corps. There's nothing stopping people recruiting wingmen from across Eve.

There are some legendary names on the list of champions and I'm really looking forward to watching as well as taking part in this.
