Instructions unclear. I became an animistic spirit inhabiting math textbooks.

Fine, special for you, attempt #2.

Teacher:
Students, who can tell me how fast does light propagate in a vacuum?

Trii Seo:
c.

Still a correct answer. Perhaps the teacher shouldn't be so sloppy, and should instead say 'Students, 'c' is the mathematical shorthand in physics for the speed of light in a vacuum. Can anyone tell me what the value of 'c' is in meters/second?'.

I have absolutely no difficulty conceiving of this cylinder. Do you? Because it would seem I can demonstrate the conditions you claim are impossible: to hold and comprehend 'pi' in my mind in an objective, measurable form.

I do and try to understand the question first before talking. I am getting tired trying to explain simple things to all inconveniences like you.

Number. Any base, binary, decimal, even 13-based. Whatever. Number. I don't know how someone like you can't understand it yet. But whatever, I have better things to do than trying to talk math into a goon.

Obviously, since you're extremely bad at it. I've just demonstrated I can do exactly what you said couldn't be done. You're the one saying people can conceive of 3 by visualizing 3 apples, and 1/3 by visualizing an apple cut into perfect thirds. You can conceive of pi by visualizing the cylinder.

But then, you're also the one who's having trouble envisioning a 1cm-wide wooden dowel.

Perhaps goons should have less thick foreheads and obtain ability to understand jokes and ideas.

No, you didn't, goon. It's ridiculous when someone of your level of intelligence claims other to be bad at math, really. I don't know how to explain it easier... should I speak slower or call a nurse who speaks fluent moron?

Okay, I'll try one more time. Just out of curiosity.
I am not asking to visualize you anything of value pi, for Maker's sake. I am asking you to conceive NUMBER pi. Numerical relation of square to circle.

For others:
Please excuse for my language, I am really annoyed at goon level of stupidity. Thanks.

My take-away from three pages of this is that God needs to be able to do maths really well...

Specifically maths? Why?

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

You're simultaneously claiming that you can conceive of the number two - but doing so via objective representation. So my point is, you sanctimonious idiot, that no, without the objective representation, you can't. Further, by using objective representation, conception of pi is just the same as conception of one, two, .3, etc, from which you are specifically claiming it is completely different.

Which means you are wrong. Not only are you wrong, but you are so amazingly bad at conceptual logic that you cannot even comprehend how you are wrong. You are effectively arguing that conception of motion is possible by moving your arm, but conception of speed is impossible because speed is relative. Furthermore, you attempt to declare that the conception of abstract concepts isn't only impossible, but that it holds the key to some boneheaded form of apotheosis that exists only in your own head.

Here's a clue: abstract concepts can obviously be conceived of, because if they couldn't, they wouldn't be concepts, you unctuous moron. Also, pi isn't the relation of 'square to circle', it's the relationship of the circumference of a circle to its own diameter. To get from the diameter of a circle to a square, you have to add in the requirement for additional lines at specific angles to one another along the surface of the circle - angles (90 degress, obviously) that are in no way mandated by the mere existence of the circle. Pi, by comparison, is the quotient of the circumference of a circle, divided by the direct distance between any point on the circle and the point directly opposite that point - no additional lines required. Just the circle.

Because not knowing your maths is bad. I once accidently divided by 0. Now all the Jovian stargate are broken..... (to the Jove, I'm really sorry about that whole "exploding-your-empire" thing...)

Gosh. That does sound poetic. Is it more poetic if you do the maths yourself or if you have a co-processor feed you the answers?

Because it is basis of everything. Everything around us is working according to laws of mathematics. Everything can be countered and measured. We are surrounded by operators and operands. Geometries, probabilities, groups and sets.
And this example - just a number pi contains infinity of numbers. In each tiny grain of sand there are universes and infinities, spreading away like infinity of space of our universe.

I understood all, but since you have replied, means you understood none.
Now clear comms, I am not in the mood of explaining trivial mathematical things to goonheads, who won't understand them anyway.

I don't think anyone here is concerned with your perception of stupidity, as I'm sure that the majority of us don't share it and your opinion is virtually worthless.
