KHANID REPATRIATION: FORMER SLAVE RETURNS HOME
A Former Khanid Woman, Enslaved As A Child Was Welcomed Back To The Empire, Joining The Underking Family As An Apprentice.

December 11, 113 YC, Sarum Prime - Attendees of the induction ceremony were treated to a tale of challenges and hope earlier today, when Miss Baixao Meiyi became an Apprentice to the Underking Family. The inductee gave a short account of her history and then renewed her pledge of service to the Empire. Her former status as a slave has been revoked now that she has rejoined the Empire.

Miss Meiyi spoke of her childhood as a slave, her escape from her abusive holder, her capture by a cult of Sani Sabik and their later experimentation on her, as well as, her escape from them. She has endured much in life and it is hoped that she will find ways to channel that resolve in the service of God, Empire and Empress.

She went on to make a self-written pledge of service to the Empire, given verbatim here:

My name is Baixao Meiyi, I was born in YC 88 on the planet Misaba III. My mother was a slave and I was taken from her and placed into the care of another Holder at the age of four. This day marked the beginning of my training to become the personal slave of my holders eldest son, taught along side my elder brother Jai'tharn Meiyi. Mine was a life of hardship, my body still carries the scars of the creative punishments of my Holder. My brother tried to keep me from trouble, his punishments far worse then mine. Jai was never as lucky as I was, for after only seven years had passed, I made my escape into the city around me, a city known well in Misaba for its body modding gangs and monstrous cults. It was in the latter that I found what I believed was a safe home, a haven from the storm of violence above the pipelines and sewers that the cult I joined called home. They were a truly terrifying group to those outside of the cult, there forms twisted by surgeries and body-mods to recreate themselves into the image of the foul demonic fiends they worshipped. It was not long after this that I was selected to join the abominable ranks of these monsters. They attempted to break my spirit, to turn me into the image of a founder, Ang'shte Atharn. And in my body, they nearly succeeded but my heart remained too kind to be compared to a monster such as she. And for this I am eternally grateful. After five long years I escaped into the streets once more, turning to a life of violence and murder in order to survive, the money I made going to slaves that escaped with me. And to fund a future as a capsuleer.

It is as a member of the Amarr Empire that I hope to help those in situations similar to my own, to try to save those from a life of sin as mine once was, to seek to better creation, and find God, in the name of the Amarr Empire.

After the pledge, she was welcomed into the family by those in attendance. Some of those present had the following to say:

"I have faith in her and I see good things in her future." Guardian Underking of PIE Inc. stated.

A spokesperson for the family said, "It is our pleasure to welcome back one of God's children to the Empire and His service."

Afterword, the family gathered privately for a short time to remember Miss Cinthia Underking, their wife and mother who was murdered just over three years ago.

The Underking family has always been eager to stand in defense of the Empire against its enemies whenever required. The family trades goods throughout the Empire, ensuring goods are always available where needed. They fully support the .

A Former Khanid Woman,

About Former... Is she a member of the Khanid Bloodline or was Baixao Meiyi being hold in the Kingdom? If the last point is true, then not just only my hope and my best wishes going to her, also a my apology.

I would love to have those classes ingame. See here:

So a runaway slave is now being sheltered by the Underking family? Another Holder's property? Return said property or at least pay reparations for your theft. This is highly irregular.

Thanks for expressing your concern. The Holder in question is currently unknown to us, but should they come forward with evidence of the claim, I am sure we will come to a swift and equitable accommodation.

I wish you all the best, Miss Vitalia.

I'm sure you do not.

So you are telling me runaway slave Miss Meiyi has no idea as to the identity of her former Master? One that supposedly treated her so poorly for many, many years?

So is she merely stupid or lying to you?

Keep in mind I'm only asking out of concern for you. Trafficking in stolen property is just so gauche.

It Seems Repatriated Khanid Slaves Have An Irritating Habit Of Capitalising The First Letter Of Each Word In A Sentence When They Really Shouldn't.

Pieter Tuulinen > He'd be Civirely disadvantaged, Andreus.

Errr, you do realise that the Sani Sabik and the Federation are about as opposite as it's possible to get, right?

If my memory doesn't fail me there even is a well known Gallente pop-star that is a member of the Sani Sabik religion. Don't mess up the Sani Sabik with the Blood Raiders, Mr. Blake. The Raiders may be Sabiks, but the Sabiks aren't Raiders.

Don't lecture me on the Sani Sabik. I've been fighting them in all their forms since long before you first went into space.

Fighting them? Why? Most of them, like Midna, are peaceful and pose no threat at all to the Empire(s). The Blood Raiders on the other hand...

The Federation allows freedom of religion.

Which means various moderate Sani Sabik groups find a home there.

Of course, such persons may occasionally be gripped by divine purpose and turn into an extremist that then hurls themselves against the Imperial Orthodox Church.

Such is the way of things.
