I'm pretty sure I speak out for everyone when I say, "Are you ******* kidding me?!"


I was prepared to spend maybe 400-600 at the max. But 2000?! These guys need a hard dose of a reality.

I agree. I am hoping this is just a holder price and the actual price is much less. I was willing to go up to $1000.

I mean a smart business plan; because lets face it. NOT many people know about EVE! Its still secluded. Rant aside


Business Plan; they should have divided it into 3 types. Where you got decent quality, higher quality, and extreme.

Regular: 200-300 dollar price range. Decently affordable for those who love a nyx.

Higher Quality: 500-600 dollar price. With added features etc.

Extreme: *their stupid price or hopefully lower* add in signatures, etc etc to make it special.

Well i suppose in plex terms the digital version is about 500 bucks and this one might last longer than ten minutes unless you get pointed through the window by a passing hictor after you go to bed and wake up to find pandemic legion hotdropped 30 titans through your chimney.

But at that price it better be officer fit and be able to remote armor rep the cat.

Looking at it from a manufacturing standpoint, considering the intricacies involved in creating something that looks proper and matches that which is described in the link, that price sounds about right, if they want to make any profit anyway.

That being said, looking at it from the consumer side, you would be an idiot to pay that.

2 grand is what they say they want for it. Pay it or don't , those arr your option.

While it seems like a lot, we are talking about basically floating novelty art work that probably took quite an investment to create.

I'm just saying it is a stupid business model - lets face it. In the business world you gotta know who your consumer's and target audience are.

Now, lets look at EvE Online. Which HAS been on the decline for the past year. It has also low visibility. You go to a bar, and ask do yo know EvE Online? They'll look at you as if you are crazy.

Their target audience? People that are in their 20's and 30's. People with families. God knows, if I buy this and the missus hears it, they'll have my throat and head on a silver platter. Not only that, but the price is insulting.

Smart plan: Make three different types. One regular quality, one "higher" quality, and the third? Go all out bonkers on that.

6 have been sold LOL

Try to add the quantity to your cart. I started with 499 and said "unable to order that quantity" or something.

But you can order 494 right now so 6 sold.
I also saved my cart so wonder if that means no one else can buy any til it times out. God thays funny to think about.

So ccp just sold $12k worth of models with the 6 sales so far. This just means they are going to say "look guys they love them! People are buying them! Lets drop proce $200 and say sale and they will sell out!"

I just wish they came with a PAIR OF JEANS...

Yes, because no Hamptons mansion would be complete without a LED light flashing spaceship taking pride of place on the mantlepiece.

There is only 494 available currently though.
So some poor saps (6 of them) already paid 2gs for it.
