there is always events and contests that awards pvp players... why aint there a contest for miners, traders, pve, manufacturers??? Not all like pvp....


And skins aint a price, thats just overpriced makeup... you can put red lipstick on a pig, but it dont change the fact that its still a pig.

Good question.
we have events for all types of players, x games, trivia, frigate races... can hunts.
No one is left out and if you mean that the domi skins aren't a real prize?, they currently have a market value of over 500 million, so, that's nothing to sneeze at.

not to mention that they are worth a bit to the person who donated them so that some lucky person might get one.

The annual "??????ship" (we will be using different ships this year) brawl where 5 pilots from each race battle it out in a "Last Pilot Standing" battle to claim the title of BEST PILOT, the glory for their race, and the prize of a PLEX, plus 2 additional prizes, (one from a donor and one from CCP) a Pirate faction Rookieship code, and a permanent Quafe Domi skin.
2nd place and 3rd place will also receive a prize this year as well.
2nd place: Plex and PFR code
3rd place: PFR code

2. The "Ship Scramble" where pilots will be given "some" warning to be ready and one of my helpers will leave (or jettison) a fully fit ship out in space generally within sight of the station (but not warp to range) and pilots will scramble to be the first one into the ship to claim it. this event will be repeated throughout the evening based on the number of people who show up in the system and the number of fitted ships we have that evening.

3. A "Can Hunt" where some pilots can put their scanning skills to good use to locate a can in space that will contain a prize.

4. Cansplosion!!!!! I'll left you folks guess about this one *wink*. Hint: you don't blow up the cans

5. Frigate races for a prize... (self explanatory I hope)

Giveaways in station, giveaways in local, conga lines, EvE trivia and more are all awaiting this year's attendees.

Each year, my main and his corp have provided items for this event, and each year the event has been made more than what it would have been by those of you who have donated to the cause, so, this year, if anyone would like to donate items, ships, or even iskies toward the event, please feel free to send or contract them to me.

As was the rule last year, please make sure that the item is in .5 or higher security systems (not high sec islands please) and the folks who have offered to haul them to the event site for me will do so.
as always, I have no intention of keeping items or isks for myself and should the case arise where there are extra things, they will carry over to the following year's event.

Here I used to have a sig of our old Camper in space. Now it is disregarded as being the wrong format. Looking out the window I see one thing: Nothing wrong with the format of our Camper! Silly CCP......

BIG thanks to Santa Spirit, Santa's Lil Elf, CCP Leeloo, and all the other helpers who made this possible. It was a lot of fun, and I'm already looking forward to next year's event (and figuring how to get more speed out of a capsule).

You're all awesome, thanks for some different game play.

Thank you so much to all the organizers and contributors to this event! It was a blast of 12 hours, and on a day I just happened to get a call from my boss telling me not to bother coming to work today due to overstaffing. Today rocked, and I'm so glad I got to be a part of it.

And enjoy that Raata Sunset Coercer, Santa Spirit. You deserve it. An Ibis is no proper ship to serve as Santa's Sleigh! Can't even fit 8 tiny festival launchers to spread holiday cheer!

And thank you too, Santa's lil Elf and Santa's Other Elf. You did so much to make this even run smoothly on the ground.

It was a fun event this year again. Smile

Although it would help to have a rough time table when each event is supposed to start. 12 hours are quite some time to pass with station spinning and fireworks.
