I am training my alt to use a Orca effectively (t2 mining and shield links) which takes aprox. 45 days. (Not counting Orca traintime)

Many thanks for ur replies and advice. I'm gonna buy my second acc today I think.

Can u link two separate accounts to the same email?

Also I have a lot of fiddling with evemon to get the skill queue and remaps correct.

Definitely getting a cerebral accelerator and cybernetics five first. Then go from there.

Also I too reckon links will be rebalanced at some point so I'll prolly go for command ships instead.

But which to go for first? Atm I'm aiming to use it on a shield marauder

Yes, you can have the same email address for multiple accounts.

The accelerator will continue to train the current skill at the accelerated rate when it expires as long as you make NO CHANGES to the skill queue.

I think it's quicker to get into a T3 OGB quicker than a CS remembering you don't have to train all the subsystem skills to V. Plus it's easier to move around with covert ops and nullify, and to hide when it's in system.

You'll have plenty of time to think about ships during you're long leadership training.

maybe true but what of the whispers of nerfs on the horizon?

also how much is 350k sp? in days/weeks/months of training?

cos ccp are giving new charcters 350k more sp in the vanguard update. should i wait till then?

also is there anyway for me to make like a buddy code or something?

350k SP is roughly 10 days for a new character, and maybe 7 days for an older character with +5 implants.
Give or take, I didn't do any hard math.

You can buddy invite a second account with the same email address and get 21 days free.

For link running the Damnation is the best due to it's ability to be fitted with up tp 550k EHP with HG Slaves. And for PVE the Paladin is king of Marauders.

last I looked trials were 30 days any way you make them. that said the buddy code gets you an extra month so might as well use it.

and the extra 350k sp is nice and all but most if it wont really help a links alt.

I think I'd go for tengu links, they seem to have a bit more flexibility in fitting over the link loki. not sure if legion or prot is better on the armor side. Command ships are nice as they can easily fit more links, but lose out on things like cov ops cloak and interdiction nullification.

proteus is a better armour booster, warps quicker and its easier to get more links active with the extra mids.

that said i use a legion so...

got my alt, cerebral boosted it and fit +3's, it will take almost 11 days to get cybernetics V & mini frig 3

after that i should be able to get to minmatar battlecruiser 4 or almost 4 within the remaining time of my accelerator.

eve mon used nerual remaps planned. cant rememebr the exact numebr of days it was till command ship. like 145 or something but then ill need fitting skills, cap skills etc

question tho

it says i have 2 bonus neural remaps
it also says neural remap available now

do i have 3 nueral remaps then?

You only have 2 available.

My 2c would be to go for the Tengu. It is a much, much more flexible ship than command ships in case you ever want to do something on that alt that isn't boosting or just add more utility to your boosting ship (scanning for example). The leadership skills are the same regardless. Going for a T1 BC so you have something until cruiser 5 is done is valid but you can switch over to a tengu immediately wile Command ships requires a LOT of leadership skills to be finished before you can fly it. T3s also get a bonus to 3 links (at 2% each) over the CS's 2 links that are 3% each.

That said my alt is trained for CS but that was because that was superior to going for T3s in WH space at the time. Also astarte dps yo.

Sorry I meant bonuses to TYPE of links, like Skirmish/Armor. Compare the T3 bonuses with the CS bonuses in EFT to see what I mean.

Yes but you can put a cloak interdiction nullification and an expanded probe launcher along side the boosts on a t3 ,
that's one hell of a useful package , particularly for hunting things.

Yeah the command ships give better boosts but that's all they do and they're painfuly slow

Your t3 can roam ,scout,scan and get you a warp in before you're even in system.

An alt in a covops capable scanning frigate (hint: astero has minimal prereqs) might be enough to tip it in your favour mate.
I do actually, the lads mentioned the app, I'm not a recruiter or actually in lords anymore so I can't speak for them but the worst they can do is say no.

pretty sure that is 3 remaps, as if you remap and wait a year you can remap again and still have the 2 bonus remaps. the bonus remaps only get used if you use them inside a year.
