Dear CCP,

Thanks for the skins - we get it and we understand it.

But what we really want is additional content - more ships, better access to tech 3 and beyond. New colour ships is great but the old school amongst us have stuck with you because the gaming content the progression and the ability to learn new skills and make a difference regardless of how much real life money we throw at the game.

No more skins - we are customised enough with our go fast stripes, lets concentrate on more game play advances and save the leopard print for our neglected partners knickers??

Kind Regards

Dear OP

Please understand that the people that make skins are different than the people that make other stuff

This is like being mad at the waitress cause your food isn't done

Exactly. I would love to see the world expanded. It's gotten pretty crowded. More faction customizations of existing ships woudl be nice. Suped up versions and so on. I would LOVE it if we had more modular ships like the T3 ships. It would also be cool if we could hire crews and train them and have theri skills impact hwo well your ship performs. I know this will never happen but I would LOVE to be able to pilot my ships using a HOTAS control setup. It would make combat sooo much better. I played Elite for a couple weeks and the feeling of flying your own ship and your success or failure depending in large part on your personal skill as a combat pilot was great. But since Elite is just combat it got pretty boring fast. EVE would benefit greatly from adding just this to the mix. The whole reason Star Citizen has gathered such a huge and loyal following even though it hasn't been released yet is the promise of essentially EVE type sandbox with combat sim and FPS experiences as well. I have been playing EVE for over 7 years now. It holds a special place in my heart. I only hope CCP plans on growing this game much more soon.

sigh...

content is coming after broken **** gets fixed. Why is this so hard for people to understand?

second: skins take up no dev time at all really and provide ccp with more $$$. More $$$ means even if there are less subs ccp can add or keep the same ammount of devs

which means **** gets fixed faster

which means new stuff comes faster

Which is why I have no problem dropping a 20 on some AUR to paint my ship a nice blood red sunset color!

Considering the relationship between Community Managers, Software Engineers and Artists, I'd put the analogy as "Yelling at your waitress to put remodeling the deck on hold, because there isn't a locally sourced vegan option on the menu."

A lot of people. And i mean really a lot. Love the new skins. They want more of that sort of thing.

And as for game play changes. This year has had a very significant changes. I mean you can't just release 10 new ships a year. It would be impossible to balance. And yet we did get 4 new dessys and it wasn't that long ago we had the SoE ships. Or the Mordus ships.

Seems like your getting your wish and you just didn't notice. Did you forget to login or something?

Wrong. You are a vet and should know better.

Whenevr ccp gets surplus $$$ they funnel it OUT OF EVE into some other game.

Ala Dust, World of Darkness, Valkyrie, Legion, wtf that mobile game is, VR stuff and research, etc etc etc.

Please show me ONE EXAMPLE when ccp gets an influx of $$$ they actually devote it to EVE.

Ps you cant but i can show 5 things off the top of my head of when they get extra $$$ they funnel it OUT of eve into SOMETHING NOT EVE

I feel they are silly. Just a new coat of paint on the same old ships. As silly as the clothing you can buy yet you can't go anywhere other than in your cabin.

Sounds like you dont know how to create content and you want it served to you on a monthly basis. Undock, and go roam. Stop whining on the forums about things that have in no way affected future content.

All SKINS do is allow people to "personalize" their ship so it looks a little bit more unique, instead of "just another gray drake". Especially if that person has spent, or is going to spend a lot of time in said ship. Why not make it a color that is pleasing to their eyes? Its all money in CCPs pocket for future developments.

Somehow i'd rather see some more development into adding detail to the planets for example, or system-wide asteroid belts.... Dunno, at this point there is plenty of ship content, but not enough world content. Somehow the EVE world feels very empty.

If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all...

Somehow I really really don't want more T3 content. And certainly nothing 'beyond' T3 at all.
More development into content inside each system maybe, so there are more 'Points of Interest' in a system to interact with sure.
But EVE is not crowded, we do not need new systems that will be claimed by the giant coalitions and farmed for whatever their unique resource is further solidifying their positions of power and continuing the cycle that feeds players into joining them.
