Vimsy, please stay on topic. We are talking about caffeine and its many addictive properties.

I need about 350mg of caffeine a day to feel like a normal person. Thank you very much, US military.

That's where I picked it up too. Not that working mid shift staring at a plane at parade rest wasn't exciting enough.

Mine started in early childhood. Single mom, latch key kid who needed attention and was looking for an outlet. It was bound to happen.

I'll take boring over exciting, generally speaking.

Exciting rarely involves anything good.

The best "Exciting" situations involve announcements at 3am like "Repel boarders, repel boarders starboard side." and you're all "What the ****? we're in Georgia." and then you spend the next several hours standing up holding a 25lb light machine gun in the rain for reasons that are even weirder than there actually being boarders.

Excitement is the worst.

Yeah, true.

My most memorable week, ever, was in Manas AB, Kyrgyzstan, where some idiot farmer peppered the gate with a rocksalt blast because he was mad some other idiot got a HMMWV stuck in his corn field, and we spent the rest of the week in fckin DELTA. Plates, helmet, NVG's and a goddamn LAW rocket attached to my back (for the farmer's tanks, no doubt). And lets not forget the reflective belt to identify myself to any potential ACTUAL attackers. Great idea.

Although I do count myself fortunate that I dont have any REAL horror stories to tell, I did hit the caffeine hard that week.

There was a training exercise in our immediate vicinity involving parachuting infantry that nobody told us about.

Awww, how cute. Try being in Camp Victory, Iraq (Delta all day, every day) in 2004. One night Air Force EOD decides to blow an entire farmer's cart of unexploded anti-personnel mines in place. Think of a 5-ton truck with the back full of anti-personnel mines. The hitch, they measured in feet instead of meters. So instead of adhering to the 2000 meter safe distance rule, they had a safe distance of 2000 ft. Needless to say, it is not fun waking up covered in glass and dirt and scrambling for your gas mask.

Given the number of never undocking corps these coporations wardec, it seems to be a failed attempt to harvest weak targets by selecting wardecs in info of market orders which may travel through Sivala-Uedama. Also by those same numbers, they seem to have a good source of income from it, OR, just wardec cost is a joke.

Its a little bit of both. Wardec fees are pretty cheap and killing one blinged ratter or fat freighter will pay for that wardec and probably 10 more to come.

I used to think that these wardec corps are evil and should be punished somehow. After really looking into how they operate and their targets reaction I feel that the merc corps and even CODE are needed in this game. The amount of people that are stupid enough to fall into their traps is amazing. If people stopped feeding them juicy kills these groups would eventually leave or do something else. As it is now, its just very profitable to prey on the stupid.

I heartily approve of caffeine. My first pint of coffee (who the hell measures coffee in those piddly 6 oz cups?) is typically on its way down by about 5:30 in the morning. I do stop before noon, but until then...let the coffee flow.

Be cool if CCP added an option to pay a billion isk to plant a bomb in captains quarters to take out station hugging nubbins like you. Be even cooler if they added a burglarise hanger option, then your smugness would seem premature.

That's why i'm sad walking in stations mever came good. Providing the opportunity for fisticuffs with all the jita scammers/spammers was a golden comtent opportunity missed.
