You do know that they're pictures of the same star right?

Actually I think the stars in EVE are some of the better visuals in game.

Nasa, bending the truth since ~1958. That's a heavily manipulated image of the sun, if we were to assume that everything in eve looked like this we would see this except when looking at a sun ofc. I agree though, but the suns should be really bright up close just like they are when looking from afar except more and bigger.

Well, that is the sun alright. The suns in EvE don't look that bad, although could have some better texturing up close, bah... what am I expecting being that close to the sun? haaa

You know that's just how star named Sun looks like in certain bandwidth...

It says the very bottom pic is the one we're most likely to see. All the fuzzy wuzzy pictures are beyond our eyes' capability to view.

Also, I wish there was a way we could turn down the brightness of the suns. Like can we have polarized windows? I can barely look at them to view how they look. Also, some of the brighter systems have this flare effect that fills up my screen. Basically, when I start to look wards the sun area, there is this flash moment when the sun comes into view and makes it bright. Sometimes, this never goes away and gets stuck leaving me looking at the HUD with no view of the stars, my location relative to other objects, and other ship crosses in my vicinity. How do I fix this?

Yeah the flashing suns are pretty tough, had some close seizure experiences from them. Sometimes I am distracted and turn into the game for a face full of semi seizure or into the game and how cool it looks when it goes off. Sadly I did get siezures to minecraft, but nothing so far has gotten that strong.

You realize those pictures are taken with special light filters and a star would never look like that to the human eye right?

We just got to be given pod window filters we can change in and out and see the sun differently and stuff. Suppose everyone would be roleplaying Jordy LaForge if that was allowed sadly.

You realize that according to EVE prime fiction you don't ever see anything in space with the human eye right? :)

Do you realize it is Jove who plug your ass to the capsule. First man to reach 200 mill skill points will mate with Jove.

Creationism - Jove gave man capsule, then clone vat bay. On the sevens day jove facepalmed and quit.

Eve and Bob At least Bob were Real.

This post sums up why the 'best' work with DCM inc.

WARP DRIVE makes eve boring

really - add warping align time 300% on gun aggression and eve becomes great again

I stared at the sun for a half an hour, it doesn't look like that at all! and ccp needs to make these forums brighter, I can hardly see any of it!
