It's just funny because I have perfect skills, but I get nervous regardless. Yesterday I even fled from a pvp fitted Imicus while flying a pvp fitted Imperial Slicer

Just accept that you're going to die - alot. Your heart will still pound, but it will not make you freeze up as much. Don't fly what you care about losing. Save your fits so you can insta-buy a new one and get back on the horse.

That I know, and I do not give a crap about losing my ships, I can afford hundreds of them.

After a while it has gotten a bit better... Now I simply get angry cause some fights doesn't make any sense.
For example: I battled a beam fitted Tormentor, so I flew under his guns (I was flying a Crucifer) and had a tracking disruptor fitted with tracking speed script, however he was still able to hit me perfectly fine without use of tracking computer, rigs, nor enhancers. I made absolutely no sense. I near flipped from that fight.

basically bringing the transversal to zero..

I still don't understand that transversal stuff completely, the math formula for it is a headache.

I have been thinking about looking into using a Arbitrator for some pvping, however it is a 9-10 million killmail for ship alone compared to my current 7 millon for ship + fitting.

Been playing since 2003 and it's never gone away. Led hundred-pilot defense fleets right down to solo and small gang - it's always racing, quite the adrenaline rush. The other day I was taking a crap T1 frig into FW space, and was laughing at myself because I was so worked up. It's part of the PVP rush that we love so much, I suppose.

Confidence helps. You need to know your mechanics.

Google "welcome to pvp, v2" for a mechanics tutorial.

If you read it and understand it, you will be in a better position to start thinking through the plan before the fight.

Sometimes, you will even know you have it won before you start.

You will still get the shakes, but it'll simplify and speed up your decision making. A clear strategy or plan (or just a good idea of how you are willing to use your ship) before the fight starts reduces mistakes.
