Yep.

And since he is in a Bhaal, I'll bet good ISK he is using vamps (Blood Raider special ability......they get Original Gangsta nozzies).

If you want him dead, get with damn near anybody in this thread and we....um...they...will no doubt be more than happy to murder his Bhaal when he goes Suspect.

If you want to do it solo (HONOR!) , cap batteried Domi is the ticket.

Fit large neuts for the extra lolz, and once his tank breaks (and it WILL break) be sure to link the KM in yer bio.

As for drone loadouts, Ogre 2's are nice, Gecko's are evil (but blingy), or you could go with T2 sentries.

Oh, and the reason the rats don't switch agro onto him is due to the fact rats don't care if he neuts you...if he was repping you they would kill him, but shooting you? He has to be closer to them than you, generally, for that to happen

Kudo's on discovering that cap warfare is a marauders kryptonite while NOT losing yer boat.

As for his motives...yeah, I think this is his weird way of demanding ransom to leave you alone in your mission sites.

BTW, if you try and jam him out you are gonna need a cruiser or better (Blackbird/Rook/Scorpion), frigs have a really hard time breaking lock on big ships given the ECM nerf.

Everything in EVE is a trap.

And if it isn't, it's your job to make it a trap...:)

Very weird. Either he has some cunning side-ploy going on here we are all missing, or he is simply re1arded; which in EvE is often the most likely answer.

F

I'm gonna go with the ****** explanation also. But he's clever enough to figure out how mission baiting works. Maybe it was done to him? But the whole "not shooting" part makes no sense. As noted, neuts would put him on the killmail with the rats, and losses to rats don't even show up unless you have given zkillboard access to your API.

Sounds like a very special brand of autist that I would have to see to believe. Anyway, it's silly to try and solo a Bhaalgorn. No matter how many cap boosters or batteries you bring you will be dry in short order. Your desire to collect the kill singlehandedly is very admirable, but the ship he's using makes that a frustrating objective.

A buffer tank with capless weapons or drones might be able to do it, but you'll need to cycle a booster carefully to keep him from warping out. An extreme long range kite ship like a Gallente recon or a faction fit Orthrus might work also if you can get enough point range to grind him down from beyond the reach of his neuts.

But really this guy sounds like a moron. Get someone with a Falcon to help you, and murder him. And then link the killmail here, because I still don't believe this story.

Wait, please clarify. If I died in that manner, nobody else in the world would know? I lost a Kronos to Guristas neuting once before (no outside interference), and everybody in CAS seemed to know about that one =(

Just training for a Bhaalgorn would make him at least a year old, I would think. And as you said, even double cap booster 800's proved useless. I have everything to V BUT artillery & missiles, so capless weapons is not an option, not to mention I solely trained battleship skills only. My drone skills are practically perfect, but drones alone do not seem to be able to do much to his active armor tank.

I do agree with you regarding the absurdity of all this, so once I succeed I shall link appropriately. In the meanwhile, I bought a Bhaalgorn.

It's my understanding that Vamps don't drain cap nearly as fast as neuts, and given how fast my cap goes from full to zero, I assuming he's using as many neuts as he can.

Will try the cap batteried domi the next time I engage him!

This is generally true.

However.

Blood Raider ships suck cap with nozzies regardless of cap levels.....so his large vamps are sucking your cap and shoving it into his cap pool. Which he uses to run his tank.

I'm an old Nos Domi pilot, this is the main reason vamps got nerfed into almost uselessness (until recently, anyway).

Also, and this is very important, nozzies REQUIRE NO CAP TO RUN.

So even if you are capped out, a nos will still (try to) work.

And if you are using a Blood Raider ships, they always work.

I imagine if he see's you in a Bhaal he may just leave you alone. Or not. Bhaal's, I'm told, are not all that great as mission boats.

Story is bullshit.

For the people giving out advice to the OP you're dumber than the imaginary Bhaalgorn pilot.

Ah. Thanks for that bit of info.

I actually bought a Bhaalgorn because it seemed like fun activity to mimic~

ECM is the way to go against this guy. Get you a Scorpion and jam(raspberry flavor is the best) him. Make sure to bring plenty of ammo, you will likely be in for a long fight if you can't break his tank.

This is a wild thing to have happen to you and wish you best of luck in the ensuing massacre of the guy. It'd be epic to convo him with the 1bil over and over like Syeed Ameer Ali mentioned. I'm too new to know much of any help, but good luck in this and look forward to the KM!

Haha right? Seems he lost interest after 3 days (but I haven't been on in 4 days, so hopefully he'll be back). I always felt like scum for being a 2.5 year old player with 0 kills and many losses T_T.

Hello everyone. First off, I apologize in advance for the bad post in most likely the wrong place, but I figured you guys would know best when it comes to PVP and I can use some tips!

An exceedingly clever (in my opinion) pirate has taken it upon himself to follow me into every mission I run (primarily L4's) in a Bhaalgorn and harass my MTU's or loot my wrecks. Probably watchlist and locator agent or something. When I first started this game, I almost whelped a Megathron to a Tristan who baited me, and so I was very wary to engage this pilot. But after the denizens of C&P helped me realize recently what a tragedy it was to have been playing this game for over 2 years and have 0 kills on my combat history and rerunning the same missions the entire time, I have been actively trying to find PVP opportunities.

I aggressed him in my Kronos, knowing full well it was a trap. He neuted me faster than I thought possible, and only a friendly corp logi saved me from dying to NPCs and gave me just enough cap to warp off.

Now, this pirate does not seem to be your average kill-mail seeker. He does not destroy my MTU, nor does he fire upon my ship after I aggress him. It almost seems like he’s trying to stay under the radar. He does not even point me. He simply drains my capacitor to zero (so I can’t even warp off) and seems to want NPCs to finish me off, or just make me miserable. Makes no demands, doesn’t respond to anything I saw. Only repeats 1 cryptic line (below).

Long story short, he has been following me into missions for two full evenings. I have tried to take him in a PVE Kronos, a cap boosted PVP Kronos, a cap boosted Vindicator, a double cap boosted Vindicator, a cap boosted Navy Dominix. Nevermind that he neuts me to oblivion, I simply can’t dent his tank.

This is not a tears post. I welcome the content he is creating for me, and am having great fun. I would just appreciate your insights on how to deal with a Bhaalgorn involved in such a thing. I have so far been able to do absolutely nothing to this man. I realize inviting local to come blap a lone suspect Bhaalgorn may do it, but my personal sense of e-honor demands I dispatch this pilot myself (despite the shameful logi help).

So far as I can tell, there is nothing a battleship can do to a neuting Bhaalgorn that is thoroughly tanked.

Oh, and part of his brilliance, every time he interrupts my mission, he convos me and cryptically writes:

1,000,000,000.00…
1,000,000,000.00…
1,000,000,000.00…

Over and over, and doesn’t respond to anything I type back. I presume he means 1B to leave me alone.

Oh no. 2 years? Hah! Never. I'm saying I played EVE for over two years and never managed to get a kill. He only bothered me for about 3 evenings =).
