Give it a whirl. Since hybrid buff and mwds working in 'closed' pockets again.. I'm kinda curious how a blaster one would perform.

Try the Navy Scorpion its the best looking hull out their and reminds me of the drake as far as tank and raven as far as punch

Run a shield-tanked Vindicator with 425's. 1000 dps with railguns alone is pretty ******* epic.

Personally I don't do missions, but for most other forms of PVE, ie anomolies, exploration, belt ratting. I tend to have the preference to kill everything before they can kill me. I have previously done some crazy fits such as a torp fit raven with a MWD, minimal tank, web drones and a target painter. Another interesting fit that worked quite well was a blaster fit, nano megathron with a single large repper, one hardener, a MWD and the rest gank. Speed tanked drake is also fun, and funny at the same time.

As with all forms of PVE, what type of enemies you mostly fight tends to dictate what race of ship you can fly. Currently I am enjoying my navy apoc when doing anomoly running against serpentis. Sure, the damage types of lasers's aren't optimal against serpentis, but when you do 900+ dps everything just seems to melt incredibly quickly,

Over my course of making money in null sec, I have tried many crazy fits. Don't be afraid to try something different than what seems to be the normal way of doing PVE, sometimes those crazy fits and styles happen to work a whole lot better than you actually expected them to.
