Carrying Active Players inside my cargo hold

I want to be able to put another player inside my cargohold and then fly to a system. Drop the pod/ship and then carry on. Is this option even been considered?

Shuttles could be used as some kind of mini buses to transport people in their pods. You could even see their pods in your cargo hold. I like this idea a lot actually.

Capital clone vat bays would have to allow for people to respawn in them if they die (as if it was a mobile station carrying some spare clones and fitted ships for some pilots in the fleet who are on the front lines) (also, sorry if it already allows it, i dont really knows how carriers, s. carriers and titans works for this).
