Mining != big money

Mine in highsec, find a quiet system, tank your ship and watch local.

Hey, Welcome to EVE! Everyone loves miners because they pad our KB. Seriously though here is some advice for "safe" mining. First of all, nowhere is safe for miners, what I would suggest is joining a player corporation to learn from the experience of other players. What this also does is allows for more safety, because any good corp will protect their miners or at least help them recover a loss. Secondly, get a Procurer, and shield tank it. CONCORD is not a police force that prevents crime, but one that punishes it. If they cannot kill you within 10 secs at most then CONCORD will blow their asses up. A well tanked Procurer is almost as hard to kill as a Battlecruiser. Next align to station, stay aligned! If somebody shows up while you are in a belt in something other than a mining ship, then warp off immediately. A lot of times, suicide gankers look for easy targets, a combination of these things should dissuade most gankers.

Next up, I assume you are having trouble with the CODE? Or an entity like it anyways. I used to hit high sec back in my earlier days, and I would mine in CODE systems, but never got messed with. Honestly if you present a hard target then they will have to lose more than just a catalyst to kill you, and that will make it less profitable for them to try to kill you. On the other hand, you could just purchase a permit from them.

Lastly nowhere in EVE is safe. You will get ganked without cause sometimes. Such is life in New Eden. I honestly found the best places to mine were deep in null sec, under the protection of one of the major alliances. Believe it or not it is far more profitable, and far more safe. I hope these tips help, and Fly safe! o7

Again Welcome to EVE there is no switching servers. Every person in the world that plays this game is in it together. So what you do actually has an impact on the persistent universe. This also means that there is no "easy mode" PvE servers. TBH it is one thing that makes EVE great!

wow this is an outrage. as a paying customer i demand a pve only server as i do not wish to pvp. pvp is bullying and the same as terrorism and should not be allowed to be done to player who does not want.

why other game have the pve only server? because they do not wish to promote bullying and cause of grief and health problems to its players
