BC Gurista burner

I MYSELF AND ME

Recently I've been notified there's a new BC burner on SiSi.
After some mission declining, I finally met it.

Anyway, it's a wyvern with 5 fighters.
The fighters are pretty anemic. Dunno the details apart from them flying about 2100. And their sig apparently is not that big Other than that - they died.

Once you kill the fighters, 5 FBs spawn, and things start to get interesting. Or they would have been interesting, if not for the bullshit FB stats.

FBs go 3600. They shoot kinetic light missiles and do 300DPS per FB.
They orbit at about 38km, point and scram (though the scram is bugged - it does not affect MWD).
Judging by missile tests, they have T1 shield resist profile, and assuming EM is zero, it puts them at 25m signature.
Now 25m signature at 3600 is a bit too much. Or, rather, too little. Normal FBs have 125m sig.
38km orbit at 3600 and 25m sig makes it impossible to hit them with medium guns.
3600 speed and perfect agility (they can do a 180 degree turn within a server tick) makes it pretty much impossible to catch them without links or snakes.
It is theoretically possible to kill them with, say, an onyx. But you'd be doing something along 50DPS factoring in the reload.

I did manage to kill FBs with a 500mn beam oracle. One FB per rewarp. Manual piloting to minimize transversal.
But that's one time challenge. I would do it once and just be skipping the mission the next time.

PS: I killed all the FBs, and the fighters respawned. I killed all the fighters, and FBs respawned. How many waves are there?

I know only just heard about new burner missions from Seagulls new dev blog - I was expecting to see some dev thread asking for feedback and the such....

I am a pod pilot: http://dl.eve-files.com/media/corp/DesertIce/POD.jpg

CCP Zulu: Came expecting a discussion about computer monitors, left confused.

I went along to Sisi to test this out, I decided to roll with a Rapid-light cerb w/ 1 active t2 kin + 1 pith b-type passive amp (93% resist). It got destroyed within seconds; while the guns on those fighters are probably kin/therm, they're also packing mjolnir rockets, judging from the kill report. They get within a tight orbit (<5/6k) whilst activating web/scram (or disruptor), and for me, that was it, that cerb melted quite quickly...

Just a word of warning about that. Blink

these are quite nasty, at first i tried dualrep Deimos, it could tank fighters easy but could not track them at all, switched to dualweb Vigilant, still could not track, changed my approach and manged to kill the first wave with a kiting arty Cynabal, but the second wave i cant seem to crack, they go at stupid high speed(3.6k) have small sig and long range, their missiles reached me at 100km+

First wave(fighters) does omni damage from what i could tell and have t1 resistance profile.
Second wave (Fighter Bombers) do kinetic damage and seem to be t1 resist profile too.

so far i am out of ideas how to run this one in an efficient manner.

I just finished this nasty mission.

http://imgur.com/wuO8wqw

There are 3 wave of dragonfly(damage dealt : th rockets / ex turrets), and 2 wave of mantis(:em torpedos).

Super-carrier Wyvern is almost invincible. but when she loses all fighters and fbs.she just retreat in sec(warp out really fast as hell).

Anyway, this mission design is not yet completed. All of these npc info is can be changed.
