EVE General Discussion

I think we all had that one ship we set our goals to fly one day when we started playing Eve. Some wish to fly carriers or a titian while I set my first goal a little more realistic of flying a Machariel and have the skills to fly it well-ish... lol... My character might have been "born" in 2012 but after life and my company thought my time would be better used in other places than Eve. I didn't play for a year or so, and now I have bought my "dream ship" and I can say it doesn't disappoint. Thanks for the fun!

Now if we only had some sort of battle recorder/replay feature that we could use in game to go back and revisit the fight. The screenshots and video would be out of sight I'm sure.

that is a beautiful ship, my favorite design in the game.

Also the projectile weapons (especially Repeating Autocannons) always reminds me of battlestar galactica.

The Mach is my all time favorite EVE ship too. Looks cool, physically as big as a carrier, handles like a cruiser, uses Minmatar (my favorite race) guns and Minmatar+Gallente skills. I've got 3 right at this moment, one for Null Ratting (that I use the most), 1 for Incursions on an Alt, and one for PVP/home defense. I bought the first 2 and built the 3rd myself from a BPC I took from a 10/10.

There are other, better ships for various things (for instance, my tech2 fit Rattlesnake makes just as much isk from ratting as my faction fit Mach, and a Vindi is better for incursions), and I really like a lot of different ships in EVE, but my Mach is my 'flagship', much more so than any Capital ship I own.

Some folks hate on the mach because so many people have one now, screw em, Mach Supremacy 4 life, or till the servers close lol.

Edit: Radiation Mach is now my background.

I want to fly a chronos with the gallente police skin its my dream once i do it i will win eve, i mean look at this.

The Machariel's my favorite ship in the game, too. Thanks for the images. I'll make sure the art team sees the thread.

I've taken my sweet time with frigates, training up most of my skills there to perfection (still got a ways to go!) so I haven't flown most ships cruiser+ in size.

I find beauty in function as well as appearance, and the Vengeance is a wonderful frigate - great capacitor with little reliance on it, fully selectable ammo, decent projection... oh and whenever I die, I get to tell people:

I'll come back, with a vengeance!

The Mach is an amazing ship, in terms of how good it is at making red doritos blow up. Unfortunately as much as I like it for it's ability to make me piles of isk, it's pretty low on my list of good looking ships . Like there's some Galente ships that are prettier and that's saying something. Different strokes and all that when it comes to looks I guess.

The ship I'm the most impressed with in terms of looks is the redesigned Scorp, with the rattlesnake skin especially. Probably the single best redesign and one of the best looking ships overall.

Hah no, most of them are still a little meh but the Myrm is up there, as well as the Hyp and the blue SKIN most of the T2 ships get is pretty amazing.
