Just wanting to gather some opinions...

I have a pile of T1 BPOs I would like to sell off, in the range range of a couple hundred. I have never done this type of sale before and am unsure if an in-game auction (Jita I am assuming) or using the 'Sell Orders' forum is the way to go. Nowadays, which one gets better visibility?

Thanks all ^_^

You could always do both - do an ingame auction and drop a line about it in the sell order forum pointing to the ingame auction - it's a bit silly in some ways but exposure is exposure.

T1 BPOs, particularly subcaps, I'd suggest may not fit the auction method brilliantly (unless you're looking to sell all as a bulk job perhaps); if you do go with an auction I'd suggest setting a buyout at similar levels to the straight sell listings already on the market.

You can often attain slightly better sell prices ingame but I have a hunch (and it really is just that) that more exposure is often found on the sell order forum, at the cost of some bargaining / borderline trolling if you're unlucky (or supremely unrealistic in your price goals).

Another big benefit of sell order forum is it implies private contract sale and hence no sales tax / broker fee, just a 10k contract set up fee.

*nods* I am indeed looking to sell them as a block (or maybe multiple smaller blocks), so it would be pack(s) of the BPOs.

I admit I would love to avoid the broker's fee stuff if I can help it.
