This is a PHP 5.x Issue PHP 7.x is working fine. I´ll check this.

There is a problem in dealing with postgresql.

I continue to struggle with the pathfinder. After SSO authentication out this error:
Error - 500

Oooops, Something went wrong! You have experienced a technical error. We apologize.

Status: 'Internal Server Error'
Message: SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '09:24:00) AS `date` FROM `alliance` WHERE `id`=1220922756' at line 1

If once again go on the SSO authentication, all goes well.

I got some diffculties setting up pathfinder on a subdirectory.
I set it all up according to this but it still wont work a 100%.
Pathfinder is set up at [my-Domain].com/pathfinder.
Things I tried in the environment.ini.

  • Setting BASE to /pathfinder --> Loads the HTML template correctly. All other assets (scripts, images and icons) it tries to load from [my-domain].com/pathfinderpublic. I found a way around by editing the templates but that seems way to ugly and inefficient. Maybe adding a "/" to the end of the @BASE but i have no idea where to put that.
  • Setting BASE to /pathfinder/ -->Loads everything correctly but lands on the pathfinder 404 error page. Same result when leaving the the BASE blank and adding /pathfinder/ to the URL.
  • Setting RewriteBase to pathfinder/ --> Resulted in Error 500 so i decided to leave it alone.

I symlinked the pathfinder directory in the DocumentRoot, maybe its because of that.

Question: when I load pathfinder everything is out of focus, I hit the MAP button(top right) and she's sweet. Is there something I'm missing here? I'm relatively new to Pathfinder but can't find any information on this particular issue. Friends who use it offer only mixed results, some do and some don't have this issue.

Pathfinder works via CREST. (and if anything works better outside of game).
You can set dest from pathfinder and map jumps via the CREST.
As for Tripwire, I don't know. But Pathfinder works.

I have problem with PF.

Nothing happening when I login. Just nothing. I just go back to PF site with Login button. What do I need to do?

The latest PF does not work in FireFox with private browsing enabled. Could be that this is your problem.

Attempts to navigate here after a 'git pull' to upgrade from 1.1.5 to 1.1.6 result in the 404 page not found message :-/

So it's just me experiencing this out of focus ****???

Moving on then, are there plans to fix the box where your supposed to be able to add information. All I get is the circle in the middle continuously cycling and can't click on the edit button : I

I think Pathfinder has a ton of promise. The UX is gorgeous and the availability of information is excellent. I have used Siggy and Vippy and this is a superior tool. That said it is just not ready for active use. There are too many little annoying issues that drive many people (particularly vets) nuts. I am a developer and understand it is a beta product. At some point though if the expectation is for people to actively use it the beta label needs to come off and it needs to be treated and supported like a real service. The site has been down for over 24 hours and that is a deal breaker for our corp. Some simple things that need addressing:

1) Snap back - sometimes you have to drag and drop a system multiple times for it to stop moving back to its previous location
2) System renaming - you often have to rename it several times for the new name to stick
3) I would love the ability to mark a hole and have some visual representation of it appear without having to jump into it

I've been using this recently and got 2 issues-

No matter how many times I move systems in my map, they get moved back into some crazy ******* mess. How the hell do I stop that?

And I can't add other people. No matter what I type in that box on map config, it just says "searching" forever. How do I actually add people?
