So when is the next story event going to happen? I'm interested to see the end game with the drifers and find out what is going on with Jove space.

I'm not sure if there are timelines for this type of thing (that the players are privy to). You can just sit in the "Live Events" in game channel and watch for activity.

CCP is working on a fix for the Drifter Incursions (performance problem) ... once they are live again, you will sooner than later get your news, when nobody runs them and they start spreading into Highsec. Twisted

The next lore event will probably be the succession war for the Amarr throne, where players can pick a side ...
