Crippling Slow Speeds Login

when logging in it takes me about 4x longer to long in and even the emergency warp I am out of warp and stopped before I'm fully loaded. this problem only seems to be worse as time goes on. I have done all the normal things uninstalling installing clearing cache....... even done a clean install of Windows 10. I'm not the only one that's experiencing these problems. a majority of people that play this game have noticed that there has been some slow down. for some it's not entirely too bad 3 or 4 sec longer but for others its almost game braking taking up to 30 after clicking the character button. if anybody has input i would greatly appreciate it. this is the only game I play and honestly may be the only game I will play. i love this game. please CCP fix

just for everyone's information my computer is GTX980 - i7 5960 - 32g ddr4 - 500g ssd so my system benchmarks pretty well

I am experiencing the same thing. Logged in earlier today without issue. Tonight, login is slow, interface is slow, in flight turning seems jerky. Almost like I'm in ti-di.

I too am getting crippling speeds. When I login, it is increasingly longer, when I jump from system to system, the warp tunnel is 5x longer, sometimes when I right click out in space to bring up the menu, it takes 5 seconds or more to come up (not instantaneous). I have been playing Eve for 7+ years, and have a top of the line system. It just feels like network lag.

I have done network tests and speed tests, and ping tests, and everything appears normal on my end. I am not having problems with any other games but Eve. This has been only been going on since the last patch.

Having same issue. Jumping gates is almost impossible as well. Definite network lag. I've tested all of my hardware and everything is fine on my end.

Win7 out of the south west states, well above specs, no issues here. Been running really good.

Southwest US, but corpmate from UK had some problems earlier.

New issue that I just discovered. Mods all take 3-4 seconds to engage after pressing hotkey or clicking with mouse.

EVGA GTX 660 SC2 3Gig
Seagate 1TB Primary Internal Drive
Seagate 1TB External (Not used by Eve, just for storage and back ups)

Login was fine and so far in game is fine.

Same problem here, I used eve fix tool on settings in launcher.. didnt help...

stock on black screen with resources loading in the bottom left corner. Only way i get the client to respond is trying to close the window from my desktop, then when you swap back to the game the game ask you if you really want to quit.

Someone f*ked up ccp fix it!!!

Ah, Americans complaining about login problems. Some things never change.

Because I am sure the only thing they use their interwebz for is Eve... Just ignore that they are probably accessing Netflix and every other site just fine.

No, I am pretty sure that over on the other side of the lake there is the same issue. But my guess is that playing eve on the same client for years has made my log files the size of a bad Access database.

CCP Quant: Of all those who logon in Eve, 1.5% do Incursions, 13.8% PVP and 19.2% run Missions while 22.4% mine.

40.7% Join a fleet. The idea that Eve is a PVP game is false, the social fabric is in Missions and Mining.

Bah, they know nothing of slow internet. We Aussie eve-mates can pay up to $100 dollaroos and only get 4 koalas worth of data at speeds slower than a drunken wombat on his way back back from the footy.

On the other hand, I'd imagine you could encode a staggering amount of data in a Koala with the right tech.

This issue is on the Mac client too. Also, the first time I use the market, there is a long game freeze..

What, you can't read, son? I said it's been running good here. It's been running shiny all month.
This isn't a national issue, likely a small region in the world having issues with some network server somewhere. People from where you are from never have issues? uh-huh... hah
-

Anyhoot, was going to mention it in my last post, but if you are still having issues today try running a traceroute app pointing it at the EVE servers. What app? doesn't matter, maybe something from sourceforge if you don't have one (free opensource works etc). Then just let it run for a bit, let it ping the route for a minute or two, especially when you notice problems at the time. Usually they are not hard to read, give network details etc.

So if you find you keep having problems with a certain server hop, you can generate a report and send it to your isp, to tech support. If it's an ongoing issue they can adjust things on their side to bypass the problem server. That or after your tech contacting the offending server they fix it on their end.

Everyone has the market freeze, that's a UI issue. There is another thread here in GD on that, page or two back, something on not multi-threading.

Been horribly lagged since yesterday, but its pretty clear that this is not a program issue but a server issue, or rather a connection to eve's server issue... this kind of delay is not client side, its the client talking to the server. I would love to see a CCP response maybe acknowledging that this is happening.
