No heat on the MAAR, clicking approach on a blaster Moa while having rails guns and range control with an AB, no heat on the guns.

Could have been a much better fight.

Totally agree. But, in my defense:

1. I was clicking approach as he was landing because I wasn't sure how far away he was going to land, and I wanted to be in tackle range (200mm rails + Javelin = ~7km optimal). I was expecting a MWD fit, so was expecting to be able to dictate range with scram/web/AB. I wasn't expecting a dual web fit, which utterly screwed me.
2. I totally forgot to overheat anything, which I already kicked myself for above. Noob maneuver on my part.


I shoulda just gone with my neut fit and been done with it.

You actually did have range control even though it was minor. Ab/Scram/Web beats MWD/Double Web for range control purposes, you could have slowly slowboated further and further away. Yeah the heating was a big deal for sure.

Meh, I understand, it's rare that fights are executed perfectly, everyone usually finds a way to mess up in a heated fight.

Also neut Vexor would have completely screwed the Moa over. Moas tend to be very susceptible to cap warfare due to not having a utility high for nos and not having utility mids for cap booster.
