Hello all o/

I have for you a video tutorial covering how to customise the appearance of the overview tabs and ship labels with color and formatting. You will need a text editor and about 20-30 minutes as well as some very basic html knowledge.

Following this video you should know how to:
► Export and Import EVE's overview (.yaml) files
► Apply HTML text effects to labels in space
► Format those labels in a way that suits you
► Understand the effects of ordering on the way labels display
► Apply HTML text effects to overview tabs
► Format those tabs in a way that suits you
► Impress members of your preferred sex with your sexy UI

Part 2 will be coming in a few days in which I will cover some different formatting styles, a trick you can do with the distance marker, and demonstrate some more radical schemes with up and downsides to each.

Let me know if you need any more information, or if you have constructive criticism so that my future tutorials might be better!

Thanks!

Hello again o/

Here is part 2 of my idiot-proof guide to customising ship labels and overview tabs. You will need a text editor and up to 20 minutes free time.

Following this video you should know how to:
► Create a more noticeable distance marker
► Apply HTML effects to the distance marker
► Understand the importance of ordering labels
► Insert alt symbols and special characters into labels
► Format parts of the same label differently to really stand out

Unfortunately my headset microphone died and I had to wait for a replacement to be sent to me so it is a few days later than I had planned, but I hope it ties up any loose ends from the first video.

I have appreciated the feedback mails from part 1, so likewise if you have any constructive feedback I would love to hear it! I am similarly interested in seeing just how wild some people make their labels, so feel free to mail me pictures of your final set up.

As ever, thanks for watching!
