So my alt got a sexy Vulture and with max leadership skills + siege mindlink + sheild harmonizing link, I notice the Invul II on my Tengu is now irrelevant when boosted. It's like +1% resist to each when active, not worth fitting.

I normally run booster-boost amp - invul - rat specific resist amp - tp - ab. Sometimes on heavy tank missions I'll run double boost amps so this will allow me to keep the TP for those, but when I don't need the double boost amps, I have this weird free mid slot.

any ideas? double TP? an offlined overheat sink?

Shield extender just in case?
Dual prop for those missions when you can use an mwd?
Cap recharger to be more cap stable?

Depending on the missions you're running I'd suggest either a second TP (TP cycle time is painfully slow!) or a Web. I fit a webber for missions that have spider drones and in my opinion it makes a big difference!

Web or TP should be a good choice. Web needs to be long range though since some elite frigates orbit at 11km+.

Pon Farr Memorial: once every 7 years, all the carebears in high-sec must PvP or they will be temp-banned.

mmm i like the web idea thanks, although i frequently operate at very long ranges.

i will experiment with double TP and with a TP/Web. thanks for the ideas.

Also, anyone have experience with Tengu in AE bonus room? I am thinking double booster - double boost amp - double EM resist amp + vulture boosts.... would this make me live long enough to kill the webbers at warp in? I have not yet done an AE bonus room in tengu, thoughts appreciated. I also consider (and am leaning towards) just dropping in a Nighthawk to handle the webbers then swtich to tengu after the webbers are dead... seems ghetto though.

It's been a couple of months since I've bothered with AE4, but my fit tanks it just fine. Off the top of my head, Gistii B Small SB, SBA, 10mn AB II, double invuln IIs, EM hardener and a DC II. With gang boosts you should be fine - my approach has been to burn away while taking down frigates and missile batteries (smallest to largest), then working cruisers on up, easing into an orbit around an LCO while I mop up the BS.

Using this approach, the shield alarm has never gone off - though it's come close once or twice.

If you want a real tank challenge, try the Gallente Epic Arc. Shocked
