Yeah, that'd be cool...even if they had just let us imagine that, but the problem here is that CCP made an announcement in a podcast...the one that pissed me off, that "She is dead dead we are not bringing her back." That in itself is a spoiler..way to kill the Amarr rp community guys. It was as if they just wanted to get rid of her because of reasons. What are those reasons? Like I said I can't come up with any ***ing idea why they would kill off one of their most interesting characters when they have so little going on for them in the way of storyline, and SO many great roleplayers rallying around her, building their RP around the cool tension between Max and Jamyl.

I am the first person to abhor a us vs them mentality in a player/GM rp relationship but now I understand why everyone in Imperial Congregation was so upset about so many varied issues. This is abusive bull**** and obviously has been going on a long time according to the non newbies around here.

I have stories and worlds of my own to work on I am not going to deal with this **** I don't have time for it.

Itll be the same shenanigans with the heir, too, CCP has someone picked out and they'll "make sure" it gets into the storyline.




Well,that's three subscriptions here...not six... there was a lot of talk about unsubscribing in the Amarr OOC channel, but initially I was not thinking "Omfg they killed my fave character I will quit now" when it happened was actually looking forward to seeing if the story would develop into something interesting, as I am willing to trust storytelling...until it starts turning into something unbelievable.

I would have expected the story to make her to clone back and cause a huge split in the Empire, between a mix of two groups from Khanid, Sarum, Tash-Murkon, Kor-Azor and Ardishapur, Kador, now that would be interesting.

The only believable scenario irl is she committed suicide. They can say that it is not the case, but Amarr would know the capabilities of the Drifter weapons by then, they would know the dangers of going into a solar system that had been a warzone for a week, and saying it was just Amarrian arrogance is not believable in the slightest. (Not that any excuse has ever been offered for this mismanagement)

Then even before the assassination I expected something to come out that Jamyl Sarum was controlling the Drifters and using them against her own Navy because of a secret coup before believing she just undocked in Safizon and herp derped herself to death as CCP made her do.

That body would have gone through gates that scan it, and a huge search operation would be underway...it would be found, whether it was in a player's hangar or not.

And Vollhov I remember reading your OOC comment in IS, it's true....Eve's story is not an RR Martin tale where there are literally dozens of fantastic characters and twists, where killing one character means a new journey and where dozens of other interesting people take their place, Eve has a couple of interesting characters and the rest are underdeveloped or boring as hell. I am not referring to the players of course, who are often the makers of fantastic characters. It's been a pleasure working with the Amarr roleplayers. They deserve better than this sloppy half baked storyline. Nothing in this damned story makes any sense.


The whole storyline feels like a parody of the EU's Virgin/Whore complex times their collectivist obsession times 1 thousand, rather than a tale from the future of human evolution.

So now the only women npc's in the game with any fleshing out are space nurses, of course, of course...because when women get too powerful you have to cut them down unless they're disgusting altruistic ninnies who self sacrifice themselves to other people.

yeah well im a newbie so its not much stuff and i have a year sub like i explained otherwise yes

maybe theyll give me a refund on all the money I spent then you can have all of it i wouldnt look back once

And my husband is terminally ill and on meds that make it so he cant do Eve very well so you can borrow him but only if you can play eve for him and type out what he wants his char to say.

edit: btw found out they killed Aura. CCP is on a Misogyny rampage. I would have NEVER learned to play without her.

Being a dirty pirate doesn't make me happy, I like RPing and hoarding things and PVP.

So right now I'm just hoarding things and doing hermit RP, that is, just in my own imagination not involving anyone else.

I don't want to play with these GM's in charge of the story arc they are insensitive and bad at their job.

I hate this situation worse than I did yesterday and I dont want to play anymore even let alone RP

Like I said before it's not that she was killed that upset me, it was the way it was done, and the aftermath, and the disassociative comments of the CCP staff, not caring about how the players felt and the weird reverse-spoiler guaranteeing us they would not bring her back which disallowed us from playing out certain threads and so on.(Example Max looking for her clone body in Providence, which they seemed to not give a **** about) Their reasons for the plot seemed drawn from purely OOC sources and contrived as hell. I cannot ****ing roleplay around that kind of ****y storytelling it makes no sense at all.

I'm a big fan of Game of Thrones and I don't know who Joss Whedon is. Anyways screenplays are a different medium than an interactive storyline. This is about the plot as a whole and the believability of the world, and it just isn't there. It's like they're just adlibbing based on OOC opinions, and doing improv theatre based on OOC opinions. That's why it sucks.

Of course you don't agree with the strong woman theory because you're a guy, and you're not painfully area of how much this subconscious activity permeates our culture, and it's even more deeply rooted in Europe, and the women are just pawns of the systematic character assasination of women to be the stereotype of the virgin/whore and the evil Eve, who isn't real in anywhere but their ****ed up imaginations.

If they were remotely in touch with their fanbase they would realize that even nonroleplayers were into the Empress as a character even if they were playing factions opposed to her, and all of the guys I talked to on comms in different corps loved Templar One.

Anyways im never going to be able to play this game without experiencing this pure ****ing hatred so you know, ****it.
