just get the same error line repeated after that, no real idea though as I come here to play a game not get a degree in computing.

Yep same here, launcher stuck at 0% patch, then crashes.

Re-installing launcher does nothing.

Running repair tool doesn't work either.

Same here, stuck at 0% then the launcher freezes. Reinstalled from website, same issue.

CCP the only developer in the world that can't make a launcher that works. Must be some sort of record.

It's not just CCP. Any company that opts for a crappy web based launcher can never seem to make them work correctly. League of Legends, Guild Wars had issues, WoW/SC2/Hearthstone (blizz).

The problem is using out-of-game launchers, idk why they don't just do it properly within the game. Quit-to-character select needs looking at. ''Aww we can't do it - it's too hard, it's harder than you think boohoo''. Bring in some devs that actually get work done instead of bleeding your customers dry with SKINS and removing fun mechanics before they eventually quit.

They're leaving basic stuff like this out for so long, combined with Phoebe jump changes, Aegis sov and now this, I can understand why someone might unsub with the fleet warp changes around the corner.

My launcher is also stuck at 0.0%, manual patching crashes the launcher, repair tool crashes the launcher, closing the launcher crashes the launcher. Clicking any button in the launcher - wait for it - CRASHES THE LAUNCHER.

I cancelled my sub the other day. Figured I'd wait 'til game time runs out to see if my feelings toward the game changed and maybe cancel the cancelation. This helps.

How i fixed it for me:

1. Delete Launcher folder
2. Run Repair (don't run game yet)
3. Download EVE_Online_958007-958315_win.patch from here:

https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B9jImRTV8tLsflRZV2J3OFF4TG5TeE1RaS1STDFLY1hlWXY1bDFHOEtHem1namJSMExPZ3c&usp=sharing

4. Put downloaded file into game folder
5. Run Launcher

Win10 box updated fine.

Confirm that this worked on my laptop, just wish I had seen this before deleting eve from my desktop and starting to download the offline installer files.
