I'm the good-looking one.

Andreus Ixiris wrote:
The Caldari State did not inflict vast suffering on the Intaki system itself, mostly because for reasons best known to itself (but I cannot attribute them to sheer altruism) the Ishukone Corporation saw fit to purchase that which was never the State's to sell. The suffering was in fact relegated to pretty much every other planet sold to a State megacorporation. Our ships were stolen, our natural resources were plundered. Our citizens were starved and relief convoys from Federal sources were waylaid. Dissenters vanished in the night, our governments were overthrown, our leaders were imprisoned, our rights were trampled.

But no, what you say is true. None of that actually happened in Intaki, because the corporation whose misfortunes the State used as a pretext for launching its illegal invasion of our space and then turned into a pariah - tantamount to a traitor - because it didn't support Tibus Heth's crusade chose for some reason to shield us from it.

So thank you, glorious Caldari overlords, for plundering, murdering and oppressing the many colonies of the Intaki, because at least you spared our homeworld! How wonderfully magnanimous of you.

Ok, maybe the rhetoric was a little strong. But there was a lot of stuff that went down that didn't make it into any news agency, let alone the SCOPE. Riots, people disappearing, bombings. It seemed like every pirate organization in the cluster stopped by for a visit. Serpentis was especially bad. Some pirates actually made a good isk by smuggling in relief. Some didn't.

And hey, Caldari occupation meant we couldn't vote in the elections. So any of you Caldari out there got a problem with Roden, it's kind of your own fault.

Oh wait, we're blaming Ishukone right? Or is it Heth's fault?

I'm glad I lead a simpler life now.

If not? Well, the dark, nihilistic part of me would definitely get some sort of bitter satisfaction from watching all of New Eden burn to the ground. It'd serve all of you smug, selfish bastards right - because if the Federation is so deserving of death, then by all the hells, the rest of you are as well. I'd certainly be more than happy to help drag you into the abyss with us.

Strict discipline and unity through pure faith.
The Empire practises a way of life, that is worth admiring. Just as the Republic, with his long lasting identity.
It is beyond doubt, that with more effort they would be capable of to become equal to the State.

While the Federation is fighting for freedom, which, in fact is a euphemism for nothing.

I tried - I really tried co-operating. I really tried the path of friendship, tried to be an idealist like I thought the Federation wanted me to. But clearly, New Eden has no room for idealists, and idealists won't save the Federation. Kind words and thoughts won't save my home. And if I had to sacrifice every other spark in New Eden to keep the Federation's flame alive? Maybe there was a time I'd have hesitated, but now, given the chance, I'd do it. I might even neglect to feel guilty about it.

Perhaps we should start with you.

It's so nice to be able to assist an artist in their practice. Particularly gratifying to be part of a series that depicts the crushing of the enemies of the State.

It's very thought-provoking and inspirational, Synthia.

I would say that the Caldari don't define themselves as merely being the opposite of the Gallente. The State will act according to it's interests, as usual - we're a conglomerate of Corporate States and not a Saturday morning cartoon villain.

Indeed.
It is gallente who are villains and whose stance would be opposite to ours.

Displaying Caldari people, even as wayward and detached as Mr. Tuulinen, without proper clothes and showing private body parts is disgraceful.
If Mr. Tuulinen had his honor left, he would petition such outrage immediately to your superior officer.
Or probably he should be relinquished from the duty and corporate service, if he would accept such defamation without objection, it would be second time when he lost his honor. For a Caldari officer it must be unacceptable.

If one listened to Miss Kim, one might get the impression that the only people who offer any sort of culture relating to such ideas as "wild", "sexy", "fun", and etc were from the Federation.

I invite anyone with this impression to take a look at NOH, also known as Nugoeihuvi. They aren't hard to find, they're one of the 8. I encourage anyone interested to consider browsing through their extremely extensive library of offerings.

Do you realize, that on that picture there were displayed your nipples?

Unlike you, I would be greatly insulted if my nipples were put on a show. Do you see the difference now between us?

I am not in the least bit offended by my body. In the creche it was impossible for everyone to be clothed all the time. Showers were both communal and unisex. In the artwork I am clothed from the waist down - considerably more clothed than the adverts in which I posed for Kalaakiota 'Executive' brand underwear.

Many models pose in far less. There are many artworks throughout the State in which the subject is considerably less clothed.

I don't know where this is coming from. It's not the military. It can't be the Civire part of your heritage. Maybe it's the Achuran in you?
