I recently bought a megathron and now I'm looking for a good megathron build for pvp. Can anyone tell me builds I can use? Thanks

It's tankier than it looks, has 3 au/sec, 8 second align, almost 800dps with guns using null, and 1300m/s cold. More than fast enough to get into position. Keep a little range between you and your opponents and use your scram, web, and light drones to keep tackle off you. If you've got something hard tackled that needs to be burned down, MWD to 7km, load void, hit control space and take them to pound town.

If you don't have enough grid, drop the hybrid burst, or downgrade the cap booster or mwd. If you're with a heavier gang, you can drop the rigs, get trimarks and go dual EANM dual plate, or single EANM plus a therm, kin and explosive if you want to get really tanky.

You can make it work, and it's cheap to fly, but beware, even with a tracking bonus, you really, really have to pay attention to transversal to hit small ships, even when they're webbed, and the megathron is scant on utility. Prelock your targets and pack extra light drones. You'll be glad you did.

But if you dont have these things the Mega isn't a good choice to fly anyways.

Brick Mega is the killer/finisher of the group. Not the tackler/chaser.

If you have logies in your fleet, then armor plates, damage control, 2 eanms and 3 damage mods. Rigs are trimarks.
If you don't have logies, then dual rep, dual cap boosters. Rigs are auxiliary nano pump.
