Hours after the Amar empire formally declared war on the Drifters, an invasion of Low-Sec Systems in Khanid Kingdom began.

This thread is intended to be a resource for all parties interested in the latest developments with the Drifters since the Galatea Release. Please post and useful and relevant data here as a means to improve tactics and predict upcoming changes to the story line of EVE.

Considering how these incursions function differently than the Sansha ones (such as spreading to nearby systems if left untouched) plus the whole NPC vs NPC combat, I imagine they're like anything else that's been related to the Drifters: they're a proving ground for New game functions.

Beyond that, hell I don't know, fun? It seems whacky, sure, but it also sounded whacky to say The Mittani would log in and indock. But sure enough, there he was yesterday burning up Providence in a Tengu with the rest of ZThe Imperium. It's mad times we live in, by God. Mad times, indeed.

If its an incursion in lowsec systems, Khanid is doomed. Everyone knows incursions never get run in lowsec.

People keep asking for lower paying, increased risk , pve content. Probably sansha incursions will get an income nerf soon.

Sorry but what makes Amarr Navy Kingdom in space?Shocked After all, the Khanid has its own fleet. And Khanid has not yet become part of the Amarr Empire. The Empress did not have time to take the people back in the Khanid Empire. She did it interfere with the other heirs to the throne.

CCP develops several aspects of EvE in parallel.
Why is it that this "EvE-PvP-Masterrace" cries over and over again?

Or do you want to say that "broken SOV" keeps you from PvP?

Did CCP add anything, that a PvP Player can not **** of ( i mean fight) those "filthy" PvE Players when they join those Occasions?

You can interfere with missions, incursions, Ratting.

Not seeing the relationship there considering another set of sov tweaks came alongside this. Sure they may not be the tweaks people wanted, but that has nothing to do with this content.

I find the idea of more PVE content great when i started eve i though that missiones were kinda ****** this new drifter thing seems exciting too bad im in null :(

A dynamic pve does bring in a player base. It is also something that pve'ers will be essentially forced to do. CCP stated these can spread without limit if not contested. Ergo, it is a forced isk sink through destroying ships. Or not destroy and lose your space. As such, everybody pves. Even the most hardcore pvper. How else do they get isk to buy their ships?

Ideally, from what we have seen is it is hard combat. You will lose ships, you can be podded, etc. If done right, it can provide similar excitement on the biochemical level as pvp. Difference is you are on the receiving end.

If the AI is good enough, I guess only way you might not like it is if you cannot handle some tears of your own?

They're just a bunch of people who've somehow ended up thinking that they're entitled to anything they ask for. The only thing that these people need is a massive b***hslap back to reality. If they want to unsub then so much the better.

C'mon. You should know the elite PVP crowd by now.

They won't declare victory until the day comes when every new player has at least 20 players killers waiting on the undock for them. This is to show the noobs how great they are in having nothing better to do all day but camp and kill new players.

Then, when Eve finally closes down, the elite PKers will have gotten the ultimate "end game" for them, which is in fact, ending the game.

They'll high five in their own out of game forums, enjoy their "I wanted to destroy something beautiful " Tyler Durden moment (even though it changes NOTHING in RL nor improves their own insomniac hypnotized IKEA-buying lives) and then move on to the next game.

Dafuq did this thread suddenly become about elite PvP...? With some outlandishly remote arguments too, as if this is some sort FB wall for little teen girls to repeat the same thing like parrots whilst having no clue what they are talking about.

So to the topic of the thread, has there been any strategy/info sharing going on about these? The forums are disappointingly quiet regarding how/if the fight is progressing.

That or I'm missing it somewhere.

I have not seen anything about this new type of incursion in the missions and complexes sub-forum yet but I checked only a couple of hours ago.

Given that the Drifters change their tactics and have a Death Ray (that's what I'm calling it and I don't care) this is going to be very very interesting to see if the players manage to turbo farm them. Bling boats are a bad idea when you got little death stars all over the place.
