My launcher was updating really slowly but now its frozen at 79.9%... Congratulations for it being 2 days in a row...

they placed their haed in the sand (Dutch saying for they do not want to hear this)

2 hrs further and still not able to login due to no launcher/client updating.

CCP start reacting to the community and fix this issue

Having trouble here too. Gets about halfway and then crashes...

CCP, the launcher settings have an "Import patch" option. Couldn't you host the .patch file somewhere else and have us manually update that way?

Hmm, sorry to hear that. It worked for me first time. Whenever the launcher craps out (which it does far too often) switching the language usually fixes it for me.

I am adding my name to list. No joy on loading the patch or the game on three machines.

Various users are posting tips and suggestions for obscure workarounds that they are employing to get the client to update and work. This should not have to happen. For a paid subscription game the client should work and the game should play without having to employ "tricks".

Very frustrating.

Make sure that you can see the .zip extension and are renaming the extension and not just adding a .patch to the name.

Creating patch 0.0% for hours, I might play EVE in a boring way, but at least I'm playing. This was the same with the last patch, figure out what you guys have changed cause its not rolling how it should.
