Serpentis Burrow exploration site seems to be empty. The structures spawn but no NPCs. No wrecks in sight. Structures cannot be destroyed, I only do 0 damage.

Seems bugged.

Earlier in the thread is the issue I am currently having...

I downloaded the patch fine - launcher said ready.
Click on play, changes to loading, and nothing happens for 20sec.
The selection then turns back to play with the game unable to load.
To close the "game" I have to physically close the eve.exe file from the task manager.

I have attempted to re-install 4x now.
Have repeatedly attempted the repair tool w/ no files missing/corrupted.
Have repeatedly attempted the rescache .exe with no missing/corrupted files.

Prior to this patch, I have never had any issue that was not server wide (launcher broke, server down, etc)

I have submitted a ticket (#34836) with dxdiag, msinfo, screenshots of the launcher, and a logserver report.

Anyone found a solution to this or CCP do you have a response to this issue?

Ditto, I submitted a ticket yesterday, had a few back and forth messages with a Dev today and then poof, havent heard **** from anyone at CCP. Pretty pathetic response overall from CCP, the new vaunted, modern customer service program has revealed that when you staff it with the same lackluster employees you continue to get sh*t results.

Is it too much to hope that a Dev could maybe give an update regarding the launcher not initiating the character selection screen? I mean wtf CCP a little communication would go a long way at this point.

This is what happens for me it just loads for a few seconds no toon selection screen but the exefile.exe stays in memory

A friend recommended trying to login via my laptop that had a launcher that had not been updated in quite some time. I did and after updating I was able to connect to my accounts. So I copied my entire CCP file from my known working launcher, after install it did not change my primary PC's behavior when trying to connect. Since I can connect with my laptop I just logged an industry alt and made sure my POS is fully fueled. I'm too frustrated to try anything else tonight, at the end of the day its a game and I shouldn't have to spend hours trying to figure out how to connect to it, I'm certain if I had a similar issue on Xbox or another MMO that company would be more responsive. Definitely not CCP's finest hour.

My patch ran successfully but then got the same problme when I logged in, it went to launching for about 20 seconds aand then back to play on launcher window.

I ran rescache and amazingly enough I was missing 41824 files out of the 63958. Rescache is currently very slowly downloading the missing 41824 items and I will try to stay awake long enough to try again when it hopefully successfully finishes. This amounts to 5.13GB of missing modules. How did this much get missed in the patch because I was playing just fine prior to the patch.

Well, downloaded all 41,824 missing cache pieces and reran rescache and its now good. Also ran repair and it said I was good. But, when I brought up Launch window, same thing, logs in, goes to Lauching and 20 seconds or so later goes back to Play. The only thing showing up in Windows 7 task manager are two instances of exefile.exe *32. No sign of EVE ever launching. I have five accounts and I am not renewing the other four until I can login. There has to be a way to get past this. By the way I did re-download EVE for all the good that did as well.

How come this update is more complicated to deploy compared to all the other updates in the past all of a sudden ?

Still unable to log into my eve client even after running the repair tool several times and resetting caches,

I also have this exactly same problem. I submitted a ticket on Tuesday at 21:13 but haven't yet got any response.

After today's patch the problem remains exactly same.

Starting a copy for singularity fails in the launcher. "Failed to download update for Eve Online Launcher"

Creating a fresh copy for singularity on another box fails upon ... dare to venture a guess ? Yes, it's the launcher ! What else could it possibly be ?

https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Singularity is your very own description to do it. And guess what: it used to even work. And yes, I was clearly as suprised when it did as you may be now.

Patched and even working TQ client, version 2.2.950061 as a base

I think my client has finished doing the update, But every time i go to launch the game after logging in the client doesnt seem to load and after roughly 10 mins nothing happens,
Its slowly starting to turn into days of not being able to play eve :(

Screen flicker when clicking anywhere in space. Happens more around structures, but can be open space just viewing the skybox.

Short video showing flicker at the beginning, in reality I was spamming mouse clicks and it was like a strobe light.

Anyone else?

Yesterday could not download patch, tryed everything, looked in control panel under remove programs and low and behold there were 3 installs of EVE witch i did not down load, uninstalled all 3 ,,,, reinstalled EVE and it worked. today another patch, it downloaded and works so far... those having issues with stuck updates check to see how many installs there are.

I too have the problem of being stuck at 0.0% was fine before DT today, now stuck and if I try to close the launcher it is unresponsive and I can only close with task manager
