FIlling the Niche Markets

LowSec and NullSec often have overpriced internet spaceships and internet spaceship accessories in stations, but who wants to fly all the way to Jita to get refitted after a loss? I'm looking to fill these niches with Jita priced goods and wares. I already knew of the various "free ports" in NullSec and I have a nice spreadsheet of the top 5000 markets in EVE, but I don't know of what is in highest demand at those markets. If there is an item you buy regularly or wish was closer or you just happen to know what's in demand around then please leave a comment down below with the item, region, and/or station below. The more detailed the better I can service you and your needs.

Most large null organizations have their own logistics and supply of ships, modules and ammo. They either build their own or just ship it from Jita. They often sell at Jita prices to their members. Most alliances that can't do that have a tough time staying in null. I have heard of some cases where ruthless traders were booted from their alliance for over charging their members.

Something else to consider is that many pvp alliances view miners, traders and missioners as a necessary evil. Their first consideration is blapping other people and whiney traders take the focus off of pvp. I think it is also true that null organizations that have a primary focus on trade, but lack the ability to pvp lose their place in null quickly, they may end up as renters or other such bottom feeders, parasites.

I think you will find it to be very hard to break in. The margins you will make simply aren't there. Why would they give an outsider the profits if they have a choice?

I was thinking more like NPC NullSec like Syndicate and Curse. Sov Null is something I'd only attempt at "free ports."

Try it and see for yourself. Its the only way to really learn what works. You might make millions, but billions will likely escape you.

I still don't know what is in demand in NullSec which is why I made this thread.

There are people in this forum that know that, and they are making tens of billions out of that knowledge. Why would they want to share it with you?

It's called market PVP, not market cooperation.

Just make a seedlist with all fits that are dropping in a region, hulls and modules, start from there. Then make sure to have all variants on such fits, happy selling.

You have some serious research ahead of you young tycoon.

Have a look at what corps stage out of the station you intend to seed. Check their killboards and see what sort of doctrines and ships they use and plan accordingly.

Faction specific heavy drones suitable for the rats in the area might find a market.

Sell what you know.

Do you know what gets used on a ship? If so it needs to be sold. Think about common modules/ammuntion that fit on ships that explode a lot. Buy Meta 3, cheap, versions of that module or faction/T2 ammo types. They will sell for a good markup (in the region of 150% but sometimes upto triple what you bought them for) in lowsec/NPC nullsec. The pilots will prefer the perfect fit, but most just want to fit and undock. In most cases meta 3 will suffice. Especially in smaller gang/solo areas.

As for exact modules and such? Get the info yourself. ;p
