Now that the Succession Trials have been announced and PIE's policy on them made public, I would like to state my hope that Yonis Ardishapur will be the next Emperor of Amarr.

Lord Ardishapur has a reputation as a man of faith and integrity. Furthermore, the skills he has learned during his period of stewardship of the Ammatar Mandate will provide him with invaluable experience should he succeed.

He also understands both the usefulness of military action where it is necessary (as evidenced by his work with the 24th Imperial Crusade) and the need to avoid it where it is not - this is not a man who would launch invasions on a whim.

Lastly, I believe that he can unite theologians, traditionalists and liberals in the Empire like none of the other candidates.

Will I be putting myself forward as a possible champion of Lord Ardishapur? On that I am still undecided. I will be taking soundings on this from trusted friends. However, if I do not put my hat into the ring, rest assured that I will be very willing to support someone who does.

And on the subject of support, know that I will support whichever one of the Heirs becomes the next Emperor. The Emperor embodies the Empire and one cannot be a loyalist without backing its leader.

I echo Lord Blake's comments. Lord Ardishapur is the emperor that Amarr needs.

We live in a turbulent time, where blasphemy and sin have threatened to destroy all that Amarr has built. We have been through several reformist emperors, it's time that we pull back and remember who we are and what we stand for. God has charged us to live according to His will, and His Highness has proven great faith, piety, and dedication in this. Where the other heirs would see to continue to subordinating Amarr to faithless foreigners, His Highness has worked to build up Amarrian infrastructure and restore Amarrian values. We need Yonis Ardishapur to Reclaim our Empire.

God smiles on the emperor who will rule in His most holy and blessed name.

For those who wish to know more about this great man and why he is the most fit to rule our empire, I've organized a support group that has prepared a Galnet site dedicated to His Highness.

To Your Royal Highness Ardishapur, bless you. You have done so much for your people. You've upheld the faith through these dark times when few have. Amarr needs you. We need you. God bless you.

I join with declaring my support to Lord Yonis Ardishapur , to be the next Emperor of Amarr.

We need pious, strong and determined leader, all of which Lord Ardishapur is excellent example of.
Since all gestures of good will, done by previous Emperors, were only interpreted as signs of weakens by our enemies, it is time for them to learn true strength and determination of Amarr Empire.
May His Lordship succeed in Succession Trials and lead, in His name, our Holy and glorious Empire in many victories!

As a non-Amarrian, and Matari to boot, I can understand if my opinion is discarded.

However, were I Amarrian, Lord Ardishapur would be the Heir that I would support. While I do not agree with the politics, I can respect a man for his Integrity. Lord Ardishapur Seems to be such a man.

I must say I'm impressed by the GalNet offering. Ardishapur clearly has the best marketing team to date.

But I'm left wondering. Is your God influenced by campaigning?

Humanity has won its battle. Liberty now has a country.

It is for building support for His Royal Highness among people. It is to encourage the best fighters to rally to him and to help them truly believe in the man they are fighting for.

It is up to us, the people, to prove to God our worth and value. Does it influence Him? Of course it does. Everything we do is for Him. God favors those who carry out His will. He has charged us to bring His message to every planet of every star, and to Reclaim that which he has given. The soul of Amarr must be Reclaimed again for God, and none other than His Highness Ardishapur possesses the purity of spirit to accomplish this.

I will not hesitate when the test of Faith finds me, for only the strongest conviction will open the gates of paradise.

I too pledge my support to Yonis Ardishapur.

As a veteran of the 24th Imperial Crusade and amarr loyalist I could think of noone better qualified to become emperor than Lord Ardishapur.

Without going to declare any support on my part, yet: On this I agree. The more I wonder why he is displayed by those declaring support for him - especially on that Galnet side - as if he'd be the dream candidate for the (ultra-)conservative elements in the Empire? I think this detracts attention from this special quality of Heir Ardishapur.

Kador is traditionally the House that would appeal to conservatives but aspects of Lord Uriam Kador's personal life may put a few people off him. The high moral standards of Lord Ardishapur would appeal to those same people.

He is a man of high moral standards, indeed. He also proved to be a man of reson and prudence. And furthermore one not afraid of innovation either, where it means improvement.

I will support Lord Ardishapur in the upcoming succession trials for these reasons and many of the others stated before by others. This support will extend to whomever will champion in the trials for Lord Ardishapur.

Hm. His economic policy seems like one that would strain the bonds between Amarr and the State and possibly Amarr and the Kingdom.

If he implements restrictive tariffs and trade practices then he can expect a swift termination of any alliance. Economic warfare is WARFARE and we will not tolerate allies who are allies on paper and enemies on the balance sheet.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

I would be surprised if any of the candidates were to be opposed to a mutually beneficial arrangement.

I understand that certain policy statements are for internal consumption, but there is a lot of talk about hamstringing "foreigners" in the galnet site listed. I, of course, share your hope that whoever ascends to the Throne wishes to continue mutually beneficial arrangements.
