I'm in RU region. Haven't played in a month, came back today, ran client couple times to downlaod the last patches i missed but client would just sit there and do nothing, tried repairing - didn't help, then finally tried deleting the game and download new client, first the client link was unavailable, the link reappeared later on but still when i try to DL the client the rate the download goes is like 9kb\s then stops with error before finishing the download, started all this before DT today and still can't get into the game to play it. , didn't seems like iisue on my side cause other resources work just fine. Hope this will get fixed soon. Really looking forward to play some EVE:)

Its Just the norm these days,but look on the bright side this is before tomorrows update/patch What?

Content Deliver Network Basicly instead of us hosting the files they are hosted on a cloud network

Its the only downside of a cdn is when one goes down it effect every one who uses that cdn

CCP will have cdns in all different regions to speed up delivery that why only UK was effected

Same here just got in from work. UK resident. Tried logging in no joy. Tried from exe didnt work either , also tried repairing no joy. Ah well the joys of EvE Big smile

Lets hope as we are not all moaning about SP and free stuff they see that the UK player base has a little more tolerance than other regions.

But its a long time is there is a work around I am happy to try it.

Well said Tamar. Stiff upper lip and all. But I heard on the news these cloud things are easily hackable. Wonder why my gametime is trusted to one. Excuse my lack of understanding but if i pay someone to build a conservatory and get a gazzebo, who do i blame?

The CDN wont hold any thing except Graphics and generic files

No account details or personal info is stored or transmited through a cdn

Similar problem on Amazon.co.uk... Could it be the resources are hosted on the Amazon cloud...

Similar problems in Canada. Launcher is stuck on "Initializing", reinstalling the launcher didn't change that, and the repair tool complains of being unable to download a file from the cdn.

yep long overdue. CCP could be waking people who could care less . They, in turn, wake people who care even less. Until we get down to the people who are not paid enough to stay awake. Such is life.
