Oh yeah. We have some pretty solid wormholers in Alliance, but I only occasionally head there.

I usually do a quick scan through local. if I'm bored or planning on doing something sensitive I might check them out.

but if I really want to be paranoid and quick (which almost never happens, usually just use it for a laugh or to see what it says about certain people) I use pirates little helper http://eve-plh.com/#/home

If I get blue, orange or red in local, I'll often see who it is. Or if there's someone with an unusual name. That time when you look up a profile and Shocked over the bio.

Yes, I do. Sometimes for intel, other times to look at stuff while warping around. Other times I don't do either because I am reading something on the ingame browser or watching a Youtube video or something.

So yes, I do it but mostly as a time killer.

This thread became interesting quickly, I think I might see a 'Calm down, Miner' soon enough.

I always check if I have the time between jumps, or while ratting or mining or whatever. Sec status is important, sure. My friends and I always encouraged each other to really develope back stories for our tabletop characters, and I like to see how many players do that he in New Eden as well.

My bio is terrible. Yeah I know it.

it's like my main activity in EvE. when not procrastinating upon what i was doing previously, i look at sec status, employment history, and bio, i even sometimes say hi via local. half the time i am cloaked. the other times i am doing it via station sitting and ship spinning. :) but yeah i do it.
