Do Cerebral Accelerators still exist? I heard they can help shorten your training time by a lot, but I don't know how to get one? Does CCP give it to you as a new player?

Loving the game so far. Can't wait to try PvP!

They are created when CCP runs a promotion to give new accounts (created through Amazon I believe) accelerators as perks for subscribing. Not sure how long it's been since CCP ran the promotion, probably a couple years.

Whatever supply is left in the game can be found via the contracts system.

Aw. Oh well. I'll suck it up. Maybe check out implants. I'm in E-Uni channel and the player base is pretty accepting of my nooby questions. Best part is while I'm at work I still get to have my skills train. Can't get that i n WOWTwisted

This is Eve's best feature, in my opinion.

CCP should add more NPC 0.0 space to open it up and liven things up: the Stepping Stones project.

Still plenty of them on the public contracts.

The Standard ones more costly vs Prototypes due to longer time shoulder. The advanced version cost over billion or maybe couple of billions.

There's plenty in contracts; price you see is based on usefulness (and rarity).

Keep in mind that they accelerators only last from the moment your character was born, rather than from when you plug them in.

As such, they're more suited for alts; if you have a rich main, and can afford to spend a PLEX to speed up the training of your alt (maybe you have the feature where you train 2 characters per account enabled, and you only have a month of training on the alt), then you create the alt, immediately plug in the accelerator, and configure a skill plan to last a month or whatever.
