Today the Ushra'Khan fleet with miltia allies went forth to intervene the flagship handover. After our Tornado fleet was setup we began our operation. 2 jumps away our spies confirmed that Drifters had landed on station and was engaging the Amarrian fleet and their primary target was the Empress. Tension increased in communications until it was verified that Jamyl was infact dead. The Minmatar communications was overjoyed we could not believe that such a glorious event would ever take place at a time like this.

After the death of Jamyl the Amarrian vanguard quickly left the Safizon system to go to Amarr. On the way our brothers and sisters caught a number of Amarrian loyalists on the way to Amarr as the chaos ensued.

This was a great day for the Minmatar people and marks a new dawn for new eden. The Amarr navy lost their foothold, overconfidient and disillusioned they thought they could do what they wished unopposed. The drifters saw through that it will not happen again.

Ushra'Khan will continue our efforts on attacking vital Amarrian infrastructure in both highsec and lowsec, we encourage anyone loyal to the matari to engage the Amarrian navy and their Capsuleer allies. Elimating CVA and PIE leadership is of great importance during this timeperiod to come. Taking out these targets will be rewarded by the Minmatar Secret Service (Contact me for further information).

Long live The Matari people! Long live Ushra'Khan!

Empress Jamyl released more slaves than the Elder Fleet or the Republic ever managed to.

Empress Jamyl said that the Age of Slavery was coming to an end.

Empress Jamyl punished those slave holders who did not release their slaves when commanded.

New dawn ?

Hardly.

New day of darkness, is more probable.

You think that those reformations are likely to continue ?

So ... respectfully, triumphalism right now might be a little ill-advised?

The Empress seemed to be moving the empire towards the elimination of slavery, even if it wasn't happening fast enough to suit you. The next in line might have other ideas.

Also, we have no idea what the Drifters are going to do next.

I wouldn't assume "join the TLF" is on their agenda. "See what happens when all four empires undergo major changes of leadership simultaneously" seems like a possibility, though.

After a cursory glance at metrics:
So what you mean is you lost 700m worth of battlecruisers and support to destroy sub 5m of 'loyalists'.
What a great day for your people.
But whatever, carpe diem, my friend, carpe diem. You sure showed em.

The Empress was moving the Empire towards the final subjugation and breaking of our imprisoned people. She released the indoctrinated and broken as a weapon against the Tribes, a masterful PR stunt and attack on her enemies' resources, but an attack nonetheless.

She had no intention of seeing our people freed, and the Empire will never release their hold on them willingly.

We are left with one option. Taking them back, one by one, a hundred by a hundred. It may not happen in our lifetimes, but abandoning even one is not an option.

Try not to shoot yourselves in the foot too hard while doing this. There's comic relief and then there's just tragedy.

Well-- tragedy can be cathartic....

Somehow I think if this goes really badly we'll be too busy trying not to lose all our civilizations to appreciate it, though.

Amarr super weapon now confirmed useless...Elder Fleet 2.0 confirmed under construction.

When the ancient Minmatar faced a time of darkness and cataclysm the Amarr Empire responded with an opportunistic invasion leading to centuries of slavery and oppression. Payback has been a long time in the making, expect nothing less than the same from the tribes. (Minus the slavery...we will just decorate our hulls with captured holy memorabilia so you have to commit heresy every time you shoot us)

Incidentally if someone knows a diplo contact for the Drifters The Republic are keen to chat with them.

Ms. Dougans, you now can witness infamous Minmatar gratitude to release of their slaves. Nobody else in the history of New Eden didn't free more slaves than Her Majesty.

Maybe Minmatars simply need their slaves in the Empire to show them as "evil" just to attack it. Kindness of deceased Her Majesty was definitely ruining Minmatar plans.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't payback usually mean being actively involved?

Are you Nefantar by any chance ?

Cos that whole "we'll help if you promise to kill us last" thing you've got going there, looks very much like the Nefantar who helped the Amarr invasion of Pator, after receiving assurances that they would be enslaved last.

Hurr.

While I can somewhat understand Ushra'Khan's joy at the recent turn of events, I feel this celebratory message is in bad taste, especially as we do not know the stance of the Drifters regarding the Republic & slavery. So far they have shown no qualms in using the corpses of the dead for their nefarious purposes, not a good sign towards their moral standards.

As a closing note: 'Sometimes the Enemy of your Enemy is just that, an Enemy'

Minmatar Civilisation is the most likely to survive a Drifter invasion. Socially adaptable people who maintain a shared history and culture.

Ammatar
The Republic
Pirates (whether Angel Cartel or otherwise)
Nomads (Thukker Tribe etc)
Gallente and Caldari Citizens

All are Minmatar and Minni tech is the least high tech and most flexible. If any ethnicity/culture will survive a Drifter apocalypse my money is on the Tribes. Last faction standing FTW.

I forgot to add. Ushra'Khan fleet was using the same tactics as drifter while attacking Imperial vessels after the tragedy.
Luckily for us, they weren't as efficient and several tribal ships went down.

I myself helped to kill three of these nasty tribals, and wish I could have assisted more.

And yes, I'll repeat. Celebrating death of the Empress, who have freed way more slaves than whole Ushra'Khan themselves ever did throughout their whole history of existence, is very disgusting sight.

Honored are the dead, for their legacy guides us.

I will suspend my joy until it is certain she doesn't clone back and return. The Drifters don't appear to have an envoy but in terms of contacting them... well, I might just know someone who can help with that particular bit.

My personal feelings regarding the late Empress and her regime aside, I find these celebratory displays of chest-thumping bravado distasteful at best. This is a time for reflection.

Given the prospect of further attacks against heads of state, I am glad the Caldari power structure is as decentralized as it is; I dare say we are particularly suited to be resilient in the face of such a threat.

For once, i have to agree with miss Kim, the passing of Empress Jamyl will not help the the situation of all Matari that are still enslaved, further more, losing one of the most powerfull induviduals in the cluster brings the risk political trouble, remember Court Chamberlain Karsoth?

And how certain are we that Jamyl Sarum will not re-emerge? She was a Capsuleer, and while there is ofcourse that pesky holy flesh law that prevents Amarr royalty from being cloned, don't forget that she escaped death before. And given the fact that i am a complete atheist and think that all notions of "devine ressurection" are nonsense, i am convinced that she cloned once before.

Even though I sympathize with the Matari people, this is in pretty poor taste.

But, whatever. I'm mature enough to know that Ushra'Khan is a fringe group that doesn't speak for the Republic. And killing Ushra'Khan will never stop being satisfying and/or hilarious.
