Funny, how you take at dig at another player's RL, while trying to represent yourself as the mature one.

Funny, out of that entire post, that was the one line you fixate on.

Tell me about you mother, Hmmmmmmmmm?

Nice Crane loss too. Btw how do you lose a freaking Blockade Runner? Afk? Just sitting on undock? No instawarp? Got bumped into something while undocking so not aligned to insta but said screw it and didnt redock?
Last one is my bet.

This shows you have a lack of understanding of the game mechanics if you cannot see how the Crane was lost. It is quite easily lost with a sensor boosted Arty Tornado that easily one shot a Crane as it lands to dock, killmail shows this.

As I said I am not really bothered that the labs were lost, it is only a game and I treat it as such. If a player likes to shoot offline labs then that is his gameplay and you cannot detract from that.

I didn't sat GF as I was not there and destroying offline labs isn't a fight at all.

Fly safe.
You should have an instaDock bookmark.
YOU dont understand basic game mechanics.

It is IMPOSSIBLE TO GRT LOCKED WHEN USING INSTADOCK BOOKMARK AND AUTOPILOT

Go read the instruction manual again bro. Go learn some basic mechanics.
You are welcome for the lesson in how not to get your crane ganked anymore idiot

WOW just WOW

While I agree, that Carrie's posts usually are hard to take serious because of the immature tone.

He actually is right on many things, this one included.

If you make an insta-docking bookmark (bookmark within the docking range of the station) and either use the autopilot trick, or just spam dock. Then you will be docking as soon as you land, making it impossible for anyone to target you.

Being correct does not give license to be sanctimonious. I lose ships stupidly all of the time.
The reason Carrie gets so hostile is that those of us who treat a loss like it's no too big a deal undermines her sense of worth.

If all I had in my life was success at an online spaceships game I'd be a little like that too.

It's not enough to be a master of the game mechanics. She needs to learn that if you want to impart wisdom, you need to convey your greater knowledge in a way that it's going to be received. Coming across as an elitist douche canoe takes away from the lesson.

Some of us do not care about losing ships, POS's , or the state of our kill boards. Saying "I don't get upset over space pixels" isn't a " I didn't need that ship anyway" thing.

It's a " I learned something today" thing. And...I had fun doing it.

I lost a freighter full of billions of ore and P.I. when I forgot to fuel my POS.

Dumb and stupid move.

I took steps towards never being in that position again. It's won't happen again. Figuring out that solution was fun.
Learning generally is.

tl;dr: "DO IT THE PROPER WAY DUMB NOOB" Is self serving, and not educational. Stop stroking your e-peen.

WOW

Yo bro. I do not want to help educate the poor bear.
Just letting them know that ccp has given them basic game mechanics that can grant near imunity and almost invulnerability, the poor bears just need to google and read and think and try.
But they will just cry and ask for nerfs, when they could use that blickade runner snd proper instaDock Bookmarks and be like 99% safe.

I aint in the educating business dude. Im in the blowing up and laughing at you buis.

You can see the wellspring of my confusion here, No?

Dan

I wish I could burn this with fire, but since I am restricted in my abilities I will just lock this. This is a good example of what not to do in replying to a thread.
