Been in game 3 years and have pvp'd empire/0.0/ and lived in wormholes.

I personally find pvp in the game to be extremely Tedious and boring but I live in a null alliance.

I have a pvp-only alt who flys any pvp ship in the game to help when there is a sov fight, but I don't go on roams etc cause I can't stand it. I personally can't stand warp to gates/chasing log off heros and staring at stations, etc.

I want to help out my corp/alliance. In the past my option was to log in my 3 accounts and pve on 2 and pvp on 1.
Sov pvp is easy cause most of the time was spent in a pos listening to random chatter on coms. waiting for a titan bridge or orbiting a gate and staring at it forever. (Dominion grid online)

How do you manage to help out you're alliance yet not drive yourself bonkers doing it?

Get a few buddies (edit: less than 10 people).
Go to low-sec "hot spots."
Roam around.

Gatecamping. The only one doing more work than you is the scout. When you hear him say that something entered his space, you wake up and shoot whatever comes in.

Is that helpful enough. ?

Start FCing. If you still find it too easy, get yourself a scouting alt or two.

Actually, ever third person in eve *IS* a command links alt. The other two/thirds are a combat alt and a falcon alt. Blink

Bubble camping / Gate camping are the lazy-man PvP options. You can make it lazier by increasing the people at the camp, add in falcons, etc...

Get into a Sabre and start decloaking bombers, covops and blockaderunners, that is lazy (90% of the time doing nothing) but still rewarding as it takes a bit of skill and luck to get the tackle.

Train for Covert Cynos and fit a tackle Falcon/Arazu. Go roaming alone until you find some poor schmuck to aggress your 'afk' Falcon uncloaked on a gate. Boom! Scramwebcyno.

Basically be the guy the POS people are waiting for.

OP is complaining about being bored and you suggest for him/her to be an ANT driver?! (Planetside reference)

As previously mentioned, become a scout, become the guy that finds the fights instead of sitting around with your thumb up your ass waiting for someone else to do something.

Quit the alliance, become a neutral and everyone is a target. No need for lazy PvP P

To answer your question though - once you are a neutral, return to your alliance's territory and keep your ex-allies occupied and interested by killing them (or getting killed).
