Just a simple question for the devs / everybody. Why are the starts / nebula not Parallaxed?
It seems the in space experience could be greatly improved from just a little parallax 'scrolling'.
I'm not sure how you guys handle the 'skyboxes' when moving in systems but it seems you could just have a smaller skybox with some transparencies?

But what do I know.

Anybody got any answers?

Because the change would be so small you would need advanced scientific instruments to detect it?

Think: how much do the constellations in the sky change over the course of six months? The earth moves to a location that's 2au away from its previous position. Did you see any change in the position of individual stars?

Well touche good sir. You have a good point.
If you can set realism aside I think it would be quite cool. Personally though I don't think I can set realism aside in matters such as this.
