Does killing all the sleepers despawn a Data/Relic site

I've just started doing data/relic sites in c3s, and at the moment I only ever kill the sleepers and loot the databanks. I'm just wondering if this alone will cause the site to despawn or do I have to hack/analyze the containers as well? And is it worth hacking them isk-wise for the added danger of floating about a site for that wee bit longer?

agh its been a long time since ive done these...... but i remember back in the c2 days if we always had to leave someone on grid because after we cleared the rats the site would despawn. bear in mind that was 2 years ago.

Wrong. Shooting rats out of the sleeper relic and data sites will not despawn the site. The rats were coming back after DT for the past week but it was a bug and they fixed that it seems.

You still have to hack a can and wait an hour to get the site despawn. Or hack all cans and it disappears instantly.

I was doing this yesterday.

Also it's not worth anything to hack sleeper data sites. It drops junk loot used for t3 subsystem production which no one needs.
I think sleeper relic sites have a chance to drop wrecked hull parts.

Also if you ever see a talocan ship make sure to hack those!
